Rare Mineral Locations in Mass Effect Andromeda

Omni-Gel Canister (common) Found on defeated Milky Way exiles or acquired by dismantling exile weapons and armor. They can also be purchased from certain merchants.

Iron (Fe) - (common) Detected via orbital scan and mined with the Nomad. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

  • Where can you find Iron? Can be found on Elaaden (Zaubray), Rakaelmo (Civki), Ra Moorondi (Vaalon)

Aluminum (Al) Detected via orbital scan and mined with the Nomad. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

  • Where can you find Aluminum? Can be found on Momairus (Rohvir), Pas-76 (Saajor)

Beryllium (Be) - (Common) Can you detected via orbital scan and mined with the Nomad. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

  • Where can you find Beryllium? Can be found on Voeld (Nol), Kadara (Govorkam), Khonsu (Pytheas)

Soft Chitin (Common) Spitbugs, shemrys, and pallads can be hunted for the chitinous exoskeletons. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

Shell Filaments (Common) Kaerkyns, dralls, taurgs, and echidnas can be hunted for their shells. Shell plating can also be purchased from certain merchants.

Copper (Cu) - (Common) Can be detected via orbital scan and mined with the Nomad. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

  • Where can you find Copper? Can be found on Grogorna (Zaubray)

Silicon(Si) - (Common) Can you detected via orbital scan and mined with the Nomad. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

  • Where can you find Silicon? Can be found on H-047c (Remav), Elaaden (Zaubray)

Kett Alloy (Common) Acquired by defeating Kett enemies or dismantling their weapons and armor. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

  • Where can you find Kett Alloy? Can be found on Kadara (Govorkam)

Renderable Plates (Common) Adhi, eirochs, taurgs, and galorns can be hunted for their plates. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

Graphite (C) - (Common) Can you detected via orbital scan and mined with the Nomad. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

  • Where can you find Graphite? Can be found on asteroid (Zaubray - scan the area), Elaaden (Zaubray)

Angaran Meditation Crystal - (Common) Can be found in areas frequented by the angara. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

Cadmium (Cd) - (Uncommon) Detected via orbital scan and may be discovered in small amounts while on foot. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

  • Where can you find Cadium? Can be found on Voeld (Nol), Kadara (Govorkam)

Lithium (Li) - (Uncommon) Detected via orbital scan and maybe be discovered in small amounts on foot. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

Fluorite (F) - (Uncommon) Can be detected via orbital scan and may be discovered in small amounts on foot. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

  • Where can you find Fluorite? Can be found on Elaaden (Zaubray)(

Uranium (U) - (Uncommon) Can be detective via orbital scan and may be discovered in small amounts on foot. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

Nickel (Ni) - (Uncommon) Can be detective via orbital scan and may be discovered in small amounts on foot. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

  • Where can you find Nickel? Can be found on Havarl (Faroang)

Titanium (Ti) - (Rare) Can be detected via orbital scan and mined with the Nomad. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

  • Where can you find Titanium? Can be found on Kadara (Govorkam), H-047c (Remav), Comet Jarovbees (Saajor)

Platinum (Pt) - (Rare) Can be detected via orbital scan and mined with the Nomad. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

  • Where can you find Platinum? Can be found on Havarl (Faroang), Voeld (Nol), H-047c (Remav)

Vanadium (V) - (Rare) Can be detected via orbital scan and mined with the Nomad. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

Eiroch Fluid Sac (Rare) Eirochs can be hunted in the wild for their fluid sacs. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

Element Zero (Ez) (Ultra Rare) Can be detected via orbital scan and mined with the Nomad. Can also be purchased from certain merchants.

Mass Effect Andromeda Planet Mining Tips

It's worth getting the scanner out whenever you enter a new area on the galaxy map. You'll find anomolies that often are a source of items, research points or XP. Visit all planets in a galaxy and scan them to make sure you don't miss out on anything.
