Awesome Games Done Quick is a lovely charity event, with all proceeds going towards the Prevent Cancer Foundation. These events allow viewers to see some passionate players try to beat their favorite games in world record time. If you're a fan of a game, it's fascinating to see such high-level play or learn how the masters break your favorite title. If you're not a fan, the runs are still a trip to watch. Viewers can give a general donation, or donate specific sums to influence certain streams, like choosing a character name or how a streamer will handle an encounter.

Yesterday's highlights included a great all-dungeon run of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D, and amazing Time Trial race on Super Mario Kart, and a Shovel Knight playthough. Today's streaming schedule has already included Devil May Cry, Hitman: Blood Money, and Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster. The rest of today's lineup is below (times in ET) and you can find the full schedule for the entire week right here, allowing you to plan small breaks from work or home life.

These people play on a completely different level, but you can always pick up tips and tricks for more casual players. Watching speedruns of Bound gave me plenty of new ideas for how to approach the game in my more leisurely style.

Looks like they got their annual scandal out of the way early this year. Can't wait to see some great runs.
