Seeing games that came out this year, barely more than six months ago, on sale for less than half of their original retail price. In the case of Horizon and RE7, a third.

Truly, there is no longer any reason to pay the full $60 retail price for a AAA video game. Wait six months and you'll pick it up for a fraction of the cost, possibly with all of the DLC included. And it's not like there's a dearth of things to play in the meantime.

I have to wonder if the big publishers are starting to be concerned about market saturation at this point. Then again, apparently most of their money is in microtransactions these days, so maybe they don't really care. Shark cards cost the same whether you bought GTA V for $60 or $15.

Do you all think some idiot will mislabel it in the system so that Doom on Switch will also be $14.99 for a period of time?

Nah, that would be too stupid.

Guess it's finally time to buy Nier. Also been meaning to buy a new tv to finally upgrade my old one. If there a good place people know of that has a nice listing on the different types to help with some research? It's all so weirdly confusing and don't really want to buy a new one just based on typical customer review.
