Rainbow Six: Patriots needs to be "perfect" before Ubisoft will let it free

Rainbow Six: Patriots has been a no-show since Ubisoft's original announcement of the title, but Ubisoft executive director Alain Corre said the game is "still cooking".

Ubisoft has provided another brief update on Rainbow 6: Patriots. In an interview at Gamescom, Ubisoft executive director Alain Corre said that work is still underway on the game, but that the team wants to get it "perfect" before it's re-revealed. "On Rainbow 6, it's still cooking," Corre told IGN.

    Say what you want about Ubisoft, you always know you're buying a solid product.

    With the safety of all that cash behind them, Ubisoft can afford to take their time and craft the best game possible.

    I'm as sick to death of the Assassin's Creed franchise as the next guy, so there's as much chance of me buying Black Flag as there is me buying CoD this winter...is sweet f**king zero. But, from all the money they get out of the public we do occasionally get new I.P's worth looking into.

    So I guess I should be thanking the dumb kid who buys the franchise every year.
