Hm this article focusing on the bluriness doesn’t really do the game justice I think. To get a better perspective on how the game runs and looks on the Switch I would advice checking elsewhere before you make up your mind.

I look at that list of games and it’s not a single (exclusive) one I actually want to play, 4K or not. Is there really room for 2 home consoles where one is almost like a (crippled) windows pc in a box in today’s marked I wonder? I did get me both the original xbox and the 360 to play alongside the ps2, gc, PS3 and Wii but this time I think I’m gonna pass on Microsoft’s offering and stick with only Sony and Nintendo.Edited 3 weeks ago by Unknown

There’s been so many hints of at least something FF XV related on the Switch I’m starting to get really excited for how this is gonna turn out. Playing jrpgs on the go is the way to go (sorry for the bad pun).Edited last month by Unknown

Other M is the only Metroid game I have played and I kind of liked it, but I guess it helps that I have not played any other games in the series?

Hm I didn't get around to play this game after I had already finished Ocarina, Majora, Wind Waker, Twilight, Phantom and Minish cap. And even though I played through it, it did nothing for me really. Truth be told I think I got accustomed to playing Zelda as a 3D game and for me it just never felt right in the top down view (blasphemy right?).

I haven't even played through Zelda I and II, Links Awakening or the two oracle games. Links Awakening sounds intriguing though.

I understand that a lot of people love this game and many even consider it as one of the best games ever made but for me it's one of the weaker zeldas. (And I really like Zelda, I recently finished Breath of the Wild and that was one of the finest gaming experiences I've ever had, I even like skyward sword and spirit tracks.....).Edited July 2017 by Unknown

This has been a fantastic first half of the year! I can't rmbr last time we had games like these all release in such a short span of time. It's good to be a gamer nowadays. Great picks too!

"A note on the Vita version...." This is just really, really lazy and you know it. It says nothing about how the game runs on the Vita except for the obvious fact that it looks better on the PS4 (well it would be really, really strange if it didn't, wouldn't it?). What Vita owners want to know is if it plays decent on the handheld and exactly how much they are missing out on the graphic fidelity. How is the framerate, is it looking acceptable, does it have the same content as the PS4 version, how are the controls and so on. If it's the same game, it looks and runs acceptable and controls well I might want to get it on the handheld because i really love to play my games that way, together with the VitaTv it's almost the perfect gaming set up (I haven't made the 'Switch' yet but I surly will), and being able to play these kinds of games anywhere is really nice I think.

And just a little note on the other comments on here. A lot of you are reading this review as the gospel without having tried the game yourselves, who knows you might like it even though somebody else didn't ......Edited 2 times. Last edited June 2017 by Unknown

Taking a little break from Xenoblade Chronicles X after almost 400 hours with it. Playing Bravely Second End Layer in the meantime.

@fstim82 yeah! The Switch should be the perfect home for these kinds of slow-burn jrpgs. Do some grinding on the go or in bed then enjoy the epic battles and scenes on the big screen. It's a perfect fit.

I've been doing some thinking about this mid-generation upgrade business which i still don't think is a good idea, but; maybe that's the way it's gonna go?

That we'll stop getting new "generations" of console hardware but instead we get upgraded consoles every 5 years or so? It will look very much like pc's in a box but is there any reason for this not to happen? We'll get full backwards compatibility and the game companies don't have to learn to program for a new set of hardware every time there is a generation shift.

To me some of the appeal of consoles over pc gaming is the "closed ecosystem" model, where the games are made to work on one type of hardware and that only. So no upscaling or downscaling or tinkering with settings and stuff, just plug and play. This might be lost if the upgraded console thing do become the norm.

So there are at least two paths to follow, which one will we take?Edited April 2017 by Unknown
