    I could be wrong, but wasn't this game 60 frames on Xbox 360? Pretty sure it was.

    I'm going to buy, but not pre-order...yet. I'm still holding out hope that a special edition Zelda version will be offered. I know it probably won't happen, but I want to hold off anyway. Once if launches, if they haven't announced anything, I'll pick one up the first chance I get.Edited January 2017 by Unknown

    Posted in USgamer Community Question: Did Nintendo's Switch Presentation Convince You to Buy, Abstain, or Wait?

    @reptilio

    Nintendo spent a lot of time talking about the actual system instead of the upcoming games. There could be a lot more games coming than what they actually showed. Maybe E3 is when they'll blow the lid off with all the games that will be coming.

    If that doesn't happen and the launch lineup is small, I have a feeling that is most likely due to Nintendo pushing this thing out pretty quickly, before developers have had time to really develop anything. This makes for a small launch lineup, and potentially a drought thereafter, but I do think the games will come. Gamers are pretty fickle these days though, so hopefully if that happens it won't doom the console. I really hope not.Edited January 2017 by Unknown

    Jeremy, please write a weekly column of your take on the games industry. It's so refreshing to get a different perspective on everything. And I would be lying if I didn't admit that I partly like it because it largely aligns with my perspective, and I often feel like am alienated from the larger gaming community because of it, and that includes most of the people who write for the games press, where it seems like they all have the same opinions on everything.Edited January 2017 by Unknown

    It seems like Nintendo are maybe just throwing this thing out the door as soon as possible, so maybe that's why there doesn't seem to be a lot of games to show off. Most of what we saw were probably Wii U games that were shifted to Switch.

    It'll make for a light launch, but hopefully the 3rd parties will come. Maybe around E3 there will be more to show. As for the conference, it was stuffy and mostly boring. Just pretty bad overall. It had absolutely no energy or showmanship, which sucked all the excitement out of the reveal.Edited January 2017 by Unknown

    Overcooked is also available on PS4 and Xbox One. Not sure why Steam was the only platform mentioned in the article.

    So I guess this means that EverQuest as a franchise is officially dead? I hope not. It was my first MMO, and while by today's standards it's extremely dated, logging into that world for the first time was a magical experience.

    Sounds like the site is in good hands Kat! I appreciate that USGamer prides its work as an art, and that is why this is my favorite gaming site. It is immediately apparent to me when real thought and research (and time) goes into a piece of writing, and we don't see that kind content at most sites these days. Looking forward to more great content in 2017!

    I'm glad you will still be contributing to USGamer, Jeremy. I feel the same way you do about the direction the industry has moved toward in the last couple years, and I don't feel that our outsider take on it is represented very well at most publications. It seems lately like all games journalists have been assimilated by the Borg. I don't mean that to sound mean, but it often feels like every writer shares the same exact view on absolutely everything. I enjoy hearing your take on it and look forward to reading your stuff in 2017 and beyond.
