    several of my online friends are livid at this.

    @MHWilliams That's nice. Cataclysm still sucked Thrall's hairy, disease ridden balls.

    "The stories of each zone were drastically improved with Cataclysm. "

    HAHAHAHA- no.

    Let's not mince words here.

    Cataclysm was terrible.

    If you were Alliance, you were the Horde's punching bag to show how badass they were. The stories in the early zones went nowhere, were filled with nothing but references instead of actual story, and felt so rushed and visionless that it makes you wonder just how little time they actually put into the Alliance story, which they even admitted to!

    It doesn't help that the center seemed to center around Thrall, who was still Horde, despite being told that he wasn't, but his actions proved otherwise.

    And don't get me started on Dave Kosak (by then the head writer for WoW) and his unsubtle boner for Sylvanas Windrunner, which explains how they were handed victories in their story on a silver plate.

    Though, to be fair, the Horde players complained that they were given the stupid hat and the evil stick to use when they would have rather not.

    Cataclysm was a mess and it was Pandaria was a thankful respite from all the ego-stroaking of Metzen and Kosak.... that is, until they stole the spotlight again in Seige of Orgrimmar since the orcs in Warcraft as such a damn plot black hole and can get away with anything because Metzen.

    Sorry for the rant and considering this is an article about FFXIV, but I'm still bitter and glad that I left WoW during Warlords of Draenor. And no, not even Legion with their surprising focus on Night Elves (For once) was able to draw me back.

    I will forever be disappointed that Wallace, from Blazing Sword and my favorite heavy unit, has been all but forgotten. ;_;

    As much as I am inclined to agree, it would have been nice if Nintendo actually consulted a woman of color in her design. It also begs the question as to why she fights with her hair as opposed to her arms like everyone else, considering there's a rather ugly history of hair being weaponized against people of color in real life and the lack of genuine hair options for proper representation of people of colors in games.

    Edit: I mean, it's good that Nintendo actually acknowledges that people of color exist... they just need to do better on it with proper research and consulting.Edited last month by Unknown

    Actual Luca Blight quote;

    "It has taken hundreds of you to kill me, but I have killed THOUSANDS!"

    Now that is a villain worth hating. Even in his dying breath he wins in his own twisted mind and you cannot hope to break that threshold.

    Every time I see one of these announcements, I say the same thing;

    "Oh joy. More characters I will never get because the gacha system is so awful that I never get the characters I want, and even then, they're such low quality it'll take forever and a year to get all the feathers needed to get them to 5 star ranking!"

    I still enjoy playing the game, but damn is the gacha system a pain in the ass to deal with.

    No offense, but really, Ike was as boring as most video game protagonists.

    Let's get some fresh blood, with actual writing talent, to write the Fire Emblem games and create characters that are not just copy and pastes of each other with different hair colors.

    My main problem is that the director noted that he said that making a female protagonist 'wasn't worth it' and that's where I decided that getting Persona 5 wasn't worth it.
