@otenko doing rerolls is pretty typical in these kinds of games. I've never done it because I'm just not determined enough. But make sure not to connect it to your mynintendo account until you are happy with your heros. I heard stories about people rerolling a hundred times in brave exvius, so go for it!Edited February 2017 by Unknown

@otenko yeah but I really like heros! And I kind of feel like, you know, "buyer beware." But I see your pointEdited February 2017 by Unknown

@donkeyintheforest Ouch guess I shouldn't have said anything. I just get tired of people always talking about free to play as being a rip-off. I've spent probably around $60 on Hearthstone, $40 on Brave Exvius, and $20 on Puzzles and Dragons. Meanwhile any new console release costs as much if not more. My last purchase for 3DS--Dragon Quest VII--collects dust on the shelf because I don't have time to play it. Whatever. I like mobile games. Maybe this isn't the right place for me.

I agree with Nadia. Kat is always so negative on mobile games. Frankly, it's gotten a little predictable. And it's also a little insulting. There are a lot of busy folks out there with kids, careers, family obligations, etc., for whom the vast majority of game time is spent on the phone. I feel like there's a certain feeling on this website in particular that if a game is on a smart phone, it can't possibly be good. I don't think that's true. And honestly, I have neither the time nor inclination to pour hours and hours into a PS4 game in search of an authentic gaming experience. And FTP, while maybe not ideal, is here to stay. Maybe it's time to deal with that fact.

@TerryTrowbridge Brave Exvius was my most-played game of 2016. Not my favorite (that's either Stardew Valley or Dragon Quest Builders), but most-played. I've probably sunk less than $40 on it and I feel like a can keep up with the Meta. I still play daily and enjoy it. Will play FE Heroes too whenever it comes to iPhone. BTW cool idea of Nintendo, letting Android get the timed exclusive this time around.

@jimgamer Agree one hundred percent. A Joy Con sold separately with a d-pad is a fantastic idea.

Great article, Jeremy. This thing has Nintendo all over its DNA and it is a day one purchase for me. Luckily I preordered.Edited January 2017 by Unknown

Why would they include it? It would make the console more expensive. And who plays the console for more than twenty hours at a time? This seems like a non-issue.

Yeah, I love Kat's take on most things, but I think this was a little harsh. $300 is $50 more than the Wii, true. But adjust for inflation and the price is the same. Further, there is a lot of tech in those joy con. By saying that Nintendo should launch for a cheaper price than the PS Slim is to say that somehow Nintendo consoles are inferior. In a sense, that would be buying into what the fanboys have been saying about Nintendo for years. Nah, $300 is a fair price and it was unrealistic to expect less. Maybe they should have included a pack-in title...BUT...by not doing so, that allows Nintendo a little headroom this holiday season to put out a (Mario?) bundle that would kill at Christmas. And, anyway, the Switch already sold out in pre-orders. Games journalists may have been a little iffy on the launch. But the consumers and fans were most decidedly not.
