@guillermojiménez88 It was a slip-up behind-the-scenes on accident. It contains a score now! Our apologies.

@Roto13 Yeah, I really love the ability that players can now tweak specific pieces of armor/weapons/vehicles to fully customize their look! But yeah, it definitely comes with the trade off of like, not ever wanting to use shaders now because they're consumable. I hope with the outcry Bungie does some sort of compromise in a patch or something. ~_~

@SIGGYZtar We were originally! Instead we opted to try and check out GTA Online's PUBG-esque thing, switched to this last minute because of technical difficulties. Also Absolver's been having severe server issues all week, unfortunately. ):

@VotesForCows We all talk on Skype, but record all our audio locally through Audacity! We each have microphones too, which helps with the quality. (I use a Snowball, I think everyone else uses some form of a Yeti.) Then all our local audio gets edited together, and voila!

@RushDawg From both standpoints, while I think the lack of facial animations looks really dumb, I don't think I ever went to Shenmue for like amazing graphics or anything. As long as the world is full of completely needless but intricate detail of the most mundane things, I'll probably be happy.

@dard410 I think you missed the part where I acknowledged that this was a problem in the past games too: that the voice actresses were both cast well before Naughty Dog decided on their characters' ethnicities in their respective prior games. That's a problem! It gnawed away at me throughout this entire game (which is centrally about Chloe returning to the culture she's long been away from), just as whitewashing has bothered others in other forms of media like in film and television. To ignore that fact would be an unfair review. A review is reflecting on my experience with the game, and my experience is that this game stops short of being great because of Naughty Dog's half-baked view of diversity, and it bugged me. Every step forward felt like it was two steps backward. If the game didn't have the characters' racial identities as such a prime focus in the story, I likely wouldn't have felt the need to call it out so prominently. Alas, it's an immense bummer.

Heads up: an apology for my terrible mic quality this episode! I recorded through my computer's internal mic and not my actual mic like a dumb dumb, and didn't realize until it was far too late! ):

@ilovemesomefire I never say this is representative to all players—or heck, even a majority of them—just that some players that sank hundreds of hours (which is still an insane amount of time! even if it doesn't dip into the thousands) into the game are feeling a bit burned. I'm glad that other players, like yourself, are looking forward to Destiny 2. But your opinion isn't the only one out there, and that's what this article is for: giving a voice to the players who are being overshadowed by all of the incessant hype. Calling them "pathetic" for the reasons they're bummed out by the sequel or alluding that they're not "real" fans because of the time they've played in total is extremely petty.

The base line is: their enjoyment and time with the game, and whether they play D2 or not, doesn't impact your experience with the game. Like, at all? You'll continue enjoying the game and its sequel for many more hours, and that's great! Good for you. I don't understand the anger here. Also I definitely note that the 10-year plan accounts for multiple games, which was unclear back when they talked it up at the start of Destiny's announcement, but became clearer in Activision's legally binding agreements, which are hyperlinked in the above article in the first paragraph lol. (I also don't think you understand the phrase clickbait? We as a site do not generate clickbait.)
