Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection is Coming in January

All that repressed Mega Man Zero agony just came bubbling to the surface, didn't it?

Mega Man fans will be over the moon to learn Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection is coming. The game's trailer leaked last night, and Capcom has since made it official. We can expect a meaty collection that includes two oft-overlooked games in the series later this year.

Mega Man Legacy/ZX Collection serves up Mega Man Zero through Mega Man Zero 4 in addition to Mega Man ZX and Mega Man ZX Advent. The leaked trailer's end states the collection is coming to the PlayStation 4, but the official Mega Man Twitter account confirms it's also coming to the Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

Mega Man Zero is a notoriously difficult action game series for the Game Boy Advance. Its follow-up, Mega Man ZX and Mega Man ZX Advent for the DS (which didn't make as much of an impact as the Zero series, but still has its fans), is a little less brutal and adds some adventure elements. Unsurprisingly, one of the features pitched in the trailer is a "Casual Mode" that should make re-visiting the games a little easier on you. Other extras include screen filters, an art gallery, a music player, and a pseudo dual-screen set-up for anyone who likes ZX's touch screen options.

Previous Mega Man collections, including The Mega Man Legacy Collection and The Mega Man X Legacy Collection have been successful for Capcom. The Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection is welcome news, but it's not very surprising. Up next: The Mega Man Battle Network/Star Force Legacy Collection! Hopefully.

Look for the collection on January 21, 2020. Rock on!
