Fortnite Disco Ball - How to Dance With Others to Raise the Disco Ball Near Loot Lake

Here's how to dance with others to raise the Disco Ball near Loot Lake, as dictated by the Fortnite Week 5 Challenges slate.

'Dance with others to raise the Disco Ball near Loot Lake' is one of the Fortnite Week 5 Challenges that was substituted in by Epic at the last minute after being delayed. In this Fortnite Disco Ball guide, we'll be walking you through the precise Fortnite Disco Ball location, so you can raise the Disco Ball in Fortnite as easily as possible.

If you instead need anything else on Fortnite, you’ll want to head over to our full Fortnite Season 4 guides hub. It’s here that you’ll find a complete list of all the most elite items you can unlock as the season runs on, through levelling up your Battle Pass as quickly as you can.

Fortnite Disco Ball Week 5 Challenge

This one challenge comes part of Week 5 of Fortnite Season 4, and for a full list of the other six tasks, check out our Fortnite Week 5 Challenges guide. Here you’ll find all the information necessary to complete every challenge as quickly as possible, so you can work your way towards the Hidden Challenge of the week, as well as new Battle Pass reward tiers.

We should note that this challenge to ‘Dance with others to raise the Disco Ball near Loot Lake’ wasn’t originally in the challenge slate, but Epic switched it in to replace the Gravity Stones challenge. All the Week 5 Challenges were delayed earlier this week due to a glitch in Fortnite, so Epic switched out the old challenge for this new one at the last minute.

Firstly, as the challenge states, you’ll need a full team of four total members in order to complete this particular Week 5 Challenge. You can easily do this by selecting the ‘Squads’ mode off the main Battle Royale menu, but you might have a hard time convincing your teammates to set aside the objective of winning the match, in favor of raising the Disco Ball near Loot Lake.

As for finding the location of the actual Disco Ball itself, this can be done by heading to the west of Loot Lake. Just off the pier, there’s a few large buildings, and you and your team will want to head into the building on the left. Once you’re in the ground floor of the building, you’ll note that there’s a Disco Ball attached to a pole, but it’s resting at the bottom of the pole, on the ground.

All four members of your team now need to proceed into the corners of the room, where you can see the metallic pads on the floor. Once each member of your team is in position over the pads, you’ll want to all perform any dance move at the same time. This doesn’t have to be the same dance move, all four of you just have to be dancing at once.

You’ll know the Disco Ball has reached the top of the pole and is in peak position when small firecrackers explode from the ceiling of the room. At this point, you’ve accomplished the challenge of raising the Disco Ball near Loot Lake, and all you need to do now is finish the game of Fortnite Battle Royale you’re playing, without quitting to the lobby.

Now that we’re all done with Fortnite guide on how to complete the Disco Ball challenge for Week 5, why not continue ahead to our additional guides on the game. You can check out our Dusty Divot chests guide, or our Greasy Grove treasure map guide for more.
