Here's your comprehensive guide to every confirmed video game release date for 2018, including some additional games which are slated for the year.

2018 is set to be a packed year for video games, just like the year before it, and the year before that. Although there’s no Nintendo Switch equivalent set to release this year, there’s still a boat load of video games to release all across 2018, from blockbuster franchises all the way to smaller indie games. These are the 2018 video game release dates.

The list you’ll find laid out just below is constantly evolving and changing, and so here at USgamer we’ll keep you up to date with every game set to release throughout 2018. On top of this, we’ll also be updating the list to link to our review of every major, intriguing game releasing throughout the year, as soon as we’ve had a chance to play it.

Video Game Release Dates January 2018

There are quite a few big games to open up the January 2018 video game release schedule, in particular Monster Hunter World and Dragon Ball FighterZ, which are launching on the same date no less. Outside of this, there's also the hotly anticipated Lost Sphear on the Switch, as well as The Inpatient for PSVR users to look forward to.

Video Game Release Dates March 2018

The video game releases for March 2018 have some serious potential, with Yakuza 6: The Song of Life standing out from the crowd. There's also the Devil May Cry HD Collection kicking things off near the beginning of March, as well as Sea of Thieves and Ni No Kuni 3: Revenant Kingdom to look forward to.

There's currently not a whole lot set in stone for video game releases in April 2018, but We Happy Few is finally launching from its beta phase, which looks set to be an intriguing game if the development team can fix the early problems.

Video Game Release Dates Q1, Spring, and Early 2018

As for video games releasing in Q1/Spring of 2018 with unconfirmed release dates as of right now, Red Dead Redemption 2 just about leads the entire year in anticipation, let alone this section. Rockstar's cowboy sequel is set to sell gangbusters on release, but other blockbuster games like God of War will rival it for attention.
