Catching pokemon works a little differently in Pokemon Quest. Instead of throwing Poke Balls, you lure them with food. Evolution is a little different too, especially for one pokemon in particular, Eevee. You can read about Pokemon Quest Evolution in our Pokemon Quest Evolution Guide. This guide though, concerns itself with Eevee. It has multiple pokemon, or Eeveelutions, that it can change into, so in this Pokemon Quest Eevee Evolution Guide, we'll break down how to evolve Eevee, and get Flareon, Jolteon and Vaporeon.
There's plenty more Pokemon Quest related info to check out in our Pokemon Quest Guides hub, where you'll find beginner's tips and tricks, every recipe in Pokemon Quest, how to teach pokemon new moves and much more. For now though, let's look at how Eevee evolves in Pokemon Quest.
What Level Does Eevee Evolve in Pokemon Quest
As with any other pokemon in Pokemon Quest, Eevee needs to reach a certain level before evolving. Eevee will evolve at level 36 in Pokemon Quest, after levelling up through Level-Up Training or XP earned through Expeditions. This is true for whether you picked Eevee as your starter pokemon or not, you just need to keep Eevee in your team to level it up.
Just like in other pokemon games, Eevee can evolve into many forms, so let's look at which pokemon Eevee can evolve into in Pokemon Quest
How to Evolve Eevee to Jolteon, Flareon, Vaporeon in Pokemon Quest
There have been conflicting reports as to how exactly Eevee evolves, and whether or not you can control which pokemon you get out of it. Initially, reddit users were reporting a method for getting each Eeveelution. They were suggesting that depending on which team slot Eevee is in when it evolves, you'll get a different pokemon out of it. This theory was later debunked, and we now have a sure-fire answer for how to get Jolteon, Flareon and Vaporeon in Pokemon Quest. A group of Reddit users have been hard at work figuring the mystery out (and we'd like to thank them for finally doing so), and have concluded that which form your Eevee will take depends entirely on Power Stones. The following list gives the specific conditions for each eeveelution:
- Jolteon - Either no stones or an equal number of attack and health stones.
- Flareon - Make sure you have more attack stones equipped than health stones.
- Vaporeon - Equip Eevee with more Health Stones than Attack Stones.
This method has been coroborated by several members of the community. You should also note that the strenghth of the Power stones, and therefore Eevee's stats do not affect the outcome. It only comes down to number of stones of each type you have equipped. We'll update this guide as we get more details.
