Fortnite Rift Locations - Rift Spawn Locations for Fortnite Challenge

Here's how you can find and use the rifts all over the Fortnite map.

The Fortnite Rifts were introduced back at the beginning of Season 5 of Fortnite Battle Royale, and they're still very much an active part of the game, featured as one of the Fortnite Week 8 Challenges. In this Fortnite Rifts guide, we'll be walking you through the complete list of confirmed Fortnite Rift locations across the map, so you can track down and 'use Rifts at different spawn locations', as the challenge for Week 8 stipulates.

With Week 8 now having to come to pass in Fortnite Battle Royale, it's not too long to go until the next seasonal event is finally upon us. If you want a complete guide on the upcoming seasonsal event for Battle Royale, including the projected start date and Battle Pass cost, you can check out our Fortnite Season 6 guide.

Fortnite Rift Locations

The beginning of Fortnite Season 5 feels like forever ago at this point, but it was then that the massive blue tear appeared in the sky. Although this tear is pretty much gone at this point, the individual rifts on the ground have remained.

At the beginning of Fortnite Season 5, these rifts on the ground would swallow up objects nearby, temporarily transporting them out of the map. Now, you can basically use the rifts to redeploy, coming out of a portal high above the ground and being able to use your glider again.

Fortnite Rift Spawn Locations

We mentioned previously that using rifts at spawn locations in Fortnite Battle Royale will help you can complete one of the Fortnite Week 8 Challenges. Just below, you can see a complete map of where these rift spawn locations are on the Battle Royale map, which comes to us from Reddit.

What Do Rifts in Fortnite Do?

Once you’ve found a rift in Fortnite Battle Royale, it basically acts as a teleportation system. If you can enter a rift, you’ll immediately reappear high up above the ground, in roughly the same location on the map at which you entered the rift. From here, you basically get another chance to descend on the map, pulling out your glider so you can reach another location nearby quickly.
