Another element of customization has been added via CoD Points, which allow players to purchase rare gear that helps them stand out from the crowd. CoD Points are nothing new to the series, even last year’s game had them. And while they don't offer any competitive advantage, many players will use them to get new items and cosmetic content. What are Black Ops 4 CoD Points?

Certain editions of Black Ops 4 come with a bunch of CoD Points.

Call of Duty Points are a form of in-game currency that can be spent in the in-game store. CoD Points are purchased with real money, and then used to buy cosmetic items. They were added in on October 31, and were offered as a part of certain pre-order bonuses.

How to Buy CoD Points in Black Ops 4

CoD Points are available via the in-game store, PS and Microsoft Storefronts, and as vouchers in games stores across the world. If for some reason Activision changes tact and only lets you buy CoD Points through some sort of exclusive platform, we’ll add the details in here.

CoD Points in Black Ops 4 Zombies

CoD Points can be used in all three of Call of Duty Black Ops 4's main modes. In zombies, you can use CoD Points to get extra Nebulium Plasma.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 Special Orders

The main way to spend your CoD Points is via Special Orders. These are new item streams, which lead to special cosmetic items. It's all tied to the Black Market, essentially adding an extra line of rewards alongside the regular ones.

You Can Use CoD Points to Skip Tiers

If you've been playing Call of Duty Black Ops 4, you'll have noticed the new Black Market system. It unlocks new rewards as players progress to higher tiers. You can also buy your way to the top, with 100 CoD Points required to skip each Tier. There are 200 Tiers to get through, so if you had $200, you could get through it all.
