Fortnite Bouncer Trap - How to Use the Jump Pad in Fortnite Battle Royale

Here's all the info you need on the new Fortnite Bouncer item, including how you can best put it to use.

The Fortnite Bouncer Trap item has finally arrived in the Battle Royale mode for the hit game, and we've got all the information you need to obtain it right here in this Fortnite Bouncer Trap guide. We'll be walking you through how to get hold of the Bouncer Trap item, as well as how best to put it to use in order to maximize its potential.

But if you instead need help with anything else on Fortnite, you'll want to head on over to our full Fortnite Season 4 guides hub. It's in this guide hub that you'll find all the information you need on solving every new challenge so far in Season 4, as well as a guide on how to unlock the fabled Omega suit at the end of the new Battle Pass rewards.

Fortnite Bouncer Trap

It's entirely like that the Jump Pad item could be linked into a set of Fortnite Weekly Challenges in the future, which go live on Thursday every week, all while Season 4 rolls on. For a complete list of the latest challenges to grace Fortnite, head over to our complete Week 6 Challenges guide.

The Fortnite Bouncer is out now in Fortnite Battle Royale.

Having said that, it definitely won't be incorporated into the upcoming Week 6 Challenges in Fortnite. These have already leaked previously, and they don't contain any mention of the Bouncer Trap, but we should definitely keep an eye out for a challenge surrounding the item in the future.

What Does the Fortnite Bouncer Do?

So what is the actual function of the new Fortnite Bouncer item? Simply put, the Jump Pad lets you spring up to great heights when you walk onto it, propelling your character far up into the air just like a stack of tyres normally would. On top of this, there's no fall damage whatsoever when you use the Bouncer, so you can launch your character in whatever direction you please without fear of dying.

There's no current concrete information on where you might be able to obtain a Bouncer in Fortnite, but we can make an educated guess. Just like the Jetpack, it stands to reason that the Bouncer will probably only be available in chests in Fortnite Battle Royale, functioning as one of the rare items in the game.

We can also safely assume that it'll function like a trap in Fortnite, so it'll take up a single slot in your inventory when you pick the item up. There are sure to be some great new tactics at play with the Jump Pad in Fortnite, as we expect a lot of people will be taking advantage of the trap to purposefully launch players into the air, picking them off in the process.

We're all done with this Fortnite guide to the Jump Pad for now, but make sure to keep an eye on this guide, as we'll be updating it with additional information further down the line. For now though, you can head over to our Fortnite Jetpacks guide, for more information on how to firstly find, and then master, the new item.
