PUBG Erangel Map - All Weapon Spawn Locations in Erangel

Here's our guide to the PUBG Erangel map, including a list of weapon spawn locations.

The Erangel map is the original map of Playerunknown's Battlegrounds, and it's this map that all new PUBG PS4 players will start the game on. In this full PUBG Erangel map guide, we'll be providing you with a complete overview of the map, including where you can find vehicle and weapon spawns locations more frequently.

PUBG Erangel Map Guide

In the PUBG tips guide below, we'll be running down all the best points to obtain the best weapons across the entire Battlegrounds map, including the weapons and equipment items that are most commonly found in these locations.

PUBG Erangel Air Drop Locations

If you ever hear a plane fly overhead while you're down on the ground, then you can expect an Air Drop crate to land somewhere on the map. Keep an eye on the plane to see where it drops the crate, and if you're heading towards the area in which it drops, keep an eye out for the red smoke the crate will emit.

You can get some of the best PUBG Air Drop weapons, including the AWM sniper rifle, as well as the Ghillie Suit, arguably the best item for camouflage in the entire game. Be warned that if you do decide to go for the Air Drop, as you can bet at least several other players will have the same idea as you, and the vicinity around the Air Drop is nearly always a bloodbath.

PUBG Sosnovka Island

While the actual island of Sosnovka isn't anything particularly special, it's the military base of Novorepnoye that everyone always guns for as soon as they hit the ground. There's a reason for this, as you're almost guaranteed to find at least one SCAR-L, M16, Military Helmet, Military Vest, and more around the derelict base.

As you can probably imagine, getting to Sesnovka Island in the very south of the PUBG map is difficult, particularly if the flight path of the plane at the beginning of the game takes you nowhere near there. Add in the fact that the white circle will likely exclude Sosnovka Island in the early stages of the game, and getting in and out of the Novorepnoye military base can be incredibly difficult.

PUBG Georgopol

Located in the very northwest region of the Battlegrounds map, Georgopol is a town that arguably contains some of the best loot in the game, including assault rifles, snipers, body armor, and more, as well as numerous vehicles to get you around the map quickly.

But if you thought other areas in the map were crowded then you haven't seen anything yet, as Georgopol is an absolute warzone from the very start of the game. Even if the flight path of the plane doesn't take the players anywhere near Georgopol, you can be sure numerous players will be heading there as soon as they possibly can, so if you're going there, be prepared.

PUBG Underground Bunker

Now this is a topic that's constantly being discussed between Battlegrounds players, as the PUBG underground bunker is home to some of the best weapons and equipment in the game, regularly turning out Military Vests and Helmets, assault rifles, snipers, and shotguns for players that venture underground.

The locations of the entrances to the Underground Bunker.

There are several tunnels that players can enter to gain access to the underground bunker, and there are multiple underground rooms comprising the bunker itself, meaning if you don't immediately find what you want, just continue ahead to the next room. The underground bunker is a hot point on the map, so you should either head their with a team to conquer it, or beat everyone else there at the start of the game.

These are all the very best, albeit the riskiest, areas to obtain the very best loot in Playerunknown's Battlegrounds.
