Rainbow Six Quarantine Release Date, Trailer, Gameplay - Everything We Know
This is our guide to the Rainbow Six Quarantine release date, reveal trailer, news, and more.
Rainbow Six Quarantine was first revealed by Ubisoft back at E3 2019 earlier this year, but it's since been delayed out of an early 2020 release window. In this guide, we'll be going over details including the Rainbow Six Quarantine release date, all the gameplay and trailer footage we've seen so far, and more.
Rainbow Six Quarantine Release Date
Just recently in late October 2019, Ubisoft announced a delay for Rainbow Six Quarantine. Although the game never actually received a proper release date outside of Q1 2020, it now means that the next game in the franchise won't be releasing until after April 2020, when Ubisoft's next fiscal year starts.
Being developed by a small new team in the Ubisoft Montreal offices, Rainbow Six Quarantine will be releasing for PC, Google Stadia, PS4, and Xbox One. It'll also be a day one launch for the new Ubisoft Uplay Plus service, the new subscription model from the publisher/developer.
Rainbow Six Quarantine E3 Reveal Trailer
It was at Ubisoft's E3 2019 presentation that we got our first look at gameplay for Rainbow Six Quarantine. It's billed a three player co-op game, where three players need to fight together in order to make it out alive.
In the brief teaser trailer for Rainbow Six Quarantine, we saw one player injured by a spreading virus. They go to fend off what sound like monstrous creatures, before two other player characters rescue them.
The new game is based on the Outbreak mode, from Rainbow Six Siege. Quarantine is actually set several years in the future in the Rainbow Six 'universe,' where a mutating virus is taking over hosts. We can actually see Ela and Vergil from Rainbow Six Siege in the brief trailer, meaning that the door is open for Operatives from Siege to make an appearance in Quarantine.

As of right now, this is everything we know about the new Rainbow Six Quarantine. As soon as Ubisoft details any additional information about the game, we'll be sure to update this guide straight away.
