Niantic is trying out a new kind of event for Pokemon Go. It’s called the Legendary Lunch Hour, here’s what you need to know.

Pokemon Go has seen somewhat of a resurgence lately, thanks in part to Niantic’s dedication to holding regular community events. There have been a bunch of great events lately, but they have followed largely the same pattern. Niantic recently announced the Pokemon Go Legendary Lunch Hour. It’s a brand new event type for Pokemon Go players to enjoy, focusing on raids. You’ll find everything you need to know in the guide below.

Pokemon Go Legendary Lunch Hour Raids

The upcoming Pokemon Go Legendary Lunch Hour event focuses on raids. On the day, players will see an increased prevalence of raids in the world around them. This means more opportunities to catch powerful and rare pokemon, more XP, and more chances to team up with your friends.

Pokemon Go Legendary Lunch Hour Start Date and Time

Niantic will be running the first Legendary Lunch Hour on March 13. It will take place at 12 p.m. and will run through for a full hour. This timing applies to all time zones, so Pokemon Go players will have their events at different times relating to time zones.

Will There be More Legendary Lunch Hour Events in the Future?

Although there is currently only a plan for one Legendary Lunch Hour Event, Niantic has stated that it plans to run more in the future. We’ll be sure to update this page with more info as we get it.
