The Division 2 Ivory Key Locations - Eighth Key, Rewards, Where to Get Ivory Keys in The Division 2

There’s a mysterious box at your Base of Operations, a box that can only be opened using eight Ivory Keys. Here's where you can find them in The Division 2.

When you first stumble upon an Ivory Key in The Division 2, it's probably not going to be immediately obvious what to do with it. But in this Division 2 Ivory Keys guide, we'll be explaining where and how you can get hold of these mysterious items, as well as how you can put the keys to good use.

If you’re looking for more on The Division 2, be sure to check out our The Division 2 Guides Hub. It’s where we’ll be collecting all of our The Division 2 Guides Content. From a look at Exotic Weapons, to a breakdown of where to get new clothing dyes, you’ll find it there.

The Division 2 Ivory Keys

There are eight Ivory Keys to collect in The Division 2, and you’ll need all of them to unlock the Ivory Crate in your base of operations. They can’t be found just lying around though, as you’ll have to take down some seriously difficult enemies to get them. Let’s take a look at where they are.

The Division 2 Ivory Key Locations - Where to Find Ivory Keys

As we mentioned before, you’ll need to track down eight Ivory Keys to open the case hidden in your Base of Operations. This means tracking down eight Hunters, which is a lot easier said than done. Luckily for you, we’ve already written a guide on locating all of the Hunters in The Division 2. You can check it out over at our The Division 2 Hunter Mask Guide.

The Division 2 Ivory Cache - Where to Use the Ivory Keys

Before you set off on your key-collecting adventure, you should note where the cache is that is opened by them. To find the Ivory Cache, head into the White House, and turn right atv the first hallway. The cache is in this area, shown in the image above. Of course, you can’t do anything with it just yet, as you’ll need all eight keys.

How to Get the 8th Ivory Key in The Division 2

Getting the first seven Ivory keys in The Division 2 is fairly straightforward, as you’ll just need to track down the Hunters detailed in the guide linked earlier. The problem is, the community has yet to work out the eighth Ivory Key, which is held by the Ghost Hunter. It’s fairly simple to track down and kill the ghost, but at present they do not drop a key. Many players have reported that jumping into another player’s world and killing a Hunter again will get you the keys that you need. Though it seems pretty hit or miss as of the most recent patch. We’ll be sure to update this page once we hear more about the 8th Ivory Key in The Division 2.

The Division 2 Ivory Key Rewards - What is in the Ivory Cache?

So you’re thinking of going to great lengths to obtain all eight Ivory Keys, you’ll probably want to know what’s in the box, huh? Well, it’s a pretty powerful weapon called the Shield Splinterer. This is an F2000 assault rifle with a Gear Score of 250. It has a damage rating of 2.8k, and is great for taking on armored enemies. On top of that, you’ll get a Hunter’s Axe backpack trophy, and a white weapon skin.
