Nintendo Direct Start Time - E3 Live Stream 2019

Nintendo Direct Start Time - E3 Live Stream 2019

This is our roundup of the new Nintendo E3 Direct, including start times, and all confirmed games.

The Nintendo E3 Direct is going to take place later today, on June 11. We should get brand new looks at a number of games, including Fire Emblem Three Houses, the Link's Awakening remake, and more. In this guide, we'll be going over the Nintendo E3 Direct start times so you know when to tune into the show, and a list of all confirmed games.

Nintendo E3 2019 Direct Times

As we mentioned previously, the Nintendo Direct for E3 2019 is going to take place later today, on June 11. It'll be the last formal 'press conference' of E3, while the actual trade show runs on until Friday later this week.

When is the Nintendo E3 2019 Direct?

In the list below, we'll be rounding up the global start times for the Nintendo E3 Direct. There's no word yet on how the long the show should be, but Nintendo shows rarely go on for more than half an hour.

  • 6 p.m. CEST

Nintendo E3 2019 Direct Live Stream

Now that the Nintendo E3 Direct is almost here, there's a live stream available for the show. You can watch the showcase right here using the video below, which will continue into a presentation from Nintendo Treehouse after the Direct is over.

Nintendo E3 2019 Games

Although Super Mario Maker 2 will be coming out shortly after E3 2019 takes place, Nintendo held a mini Direct for the game earlier in May. So while we probably won't see that game at the Nintendo E3 2019 Direct, we will see Fire Emblem: Three Houses, which is set for release in July.

Nintendo just revealed a release date and gameplay for Pokemon Sword and Shield in a special Nintendo Direct for the games, so it's highly unlikely that Pokemon will appear during the Nintendo E3 Direct. Taking a look at the games that are available to play on the show floor in the tweet below, it seems unlikely that Animal Crossing will be part of the Nintendo E3 Direct, if it's absent from the show floor.

But looking ahead to the more immediate months after E3 2019, Astral Chain from Platinum Games is releasing on August 30. We've only seen a brief trailer for this Switch exclusive so far, so it's not unreasonable to look forward to more details about Astral Chain at some point during E3 2019.

Two additional Switch exclusives due for release in the months after E3 2019 are Luigi's Mansion 3, and Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. If Nintendo does hold an E3 2019 Direct we should definitely expect to see these two titles appear. Of course, there's also the perpetual rumors surrounding a Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Switch. Could the wishful thinking of fans finally pay off for E3 2019?

One game that could show up at the Nintendo E3 2019 Direct is the Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Remake that was announced near the beginning of this year. The remake is still slated for release near the end of this year, so it's quite likely that it could appear at the presentation.
