This is our guide to Tales of Arise, including a release date, E3 2019 reveal trailer, characters, setting, and more.

Tales of Arise is the brand new game in the Tales series, the first Tales game since 2016. In this guide compiling all the information we know about the JRPG so far, we'll be going over the Tales of Arise release date, the debut Tales of Arise trailer, and more.

Tales of Arise Release Date

The Tales of Arise release date has been set for 2020. The JRPG has only just been revealed for the first time at E3 2019, so there's no reason to suspect it'll be launching within the next year or so.

Tales of Arise Trailer

At the Xbox E3 2019 conference, we got our first look at Tales of Arise gameplay. We got glimpses of stylish combat with melee weapons, and elemental monsters of fire and ice towering above the battlefield.

It certainly looks like Tales of Arise will take place across an open world. We got brief glimpses of characters running across a grassy area, laying into a single monster with a sword. Previous Tales games have obviously been core RPGs, so there's no reason to think this would be anything other than that.

Tales of Arise Platforms

Tales of Arise will be releasing on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Although it was announced at the Xbox E3 2019 conference in June, it won't be a console or platform exclusive for Microsoft.
