How to Access the Modern Warfare Beta

As you might have already guessed, there are different requirements for accessing the various Modern Warfare beta periods just above. With the "Early Access" periods on the PS4, PC, and Xbox One, the only way of playing in these sessions is through pre-ordering Modern Warfare on the corresponding platform.

However if you don't want to put down a pre-order for Modern Warfare, then you'll have to wait until the "Open Beta" periods listed above in order to play on your platform. During these Modern Warfare open beta sessions on the PS4, PC, and Xbox One, absolutely anyone can dive in and play.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare Beta Modes

Back at the end of August, a Game Informer interview with the Call of Duty Modern Warfare devs revealed some new details about the beta. The devs revealed that a mode called 'Ground War' will be available to play during all the Modern Warfare beta sessions.

So what do we know about Ground War so far? For now, we only know that it features upwards of 100 players, and it's basically pitched as a huge, full scale war mode for Call of Duty Modern Warfare. Whether it's objective or kill-based however, remains unknown for now.

Now that the Modern Warfare beta is in full swing, we've managed to compile a list of all confirmed weapons that you can utilize. For more on weapons, as well as the level unlock of every gun, head over to our Call of Duty Modern Warfare weapons guide.
