Is Predator Hunting Grounds a PS4 Exclusive?
Given that Predator Hunting Grounds was announced at PlayStation State of Play, many have been wondering whether it will be making its way to other consoles. Unfortunately, it seems that all signs point to it being PS4-only, as it is being created in partnership with Sony Interactive Entertainment and Fox. In the past, this has been a solid indicator that a game is PS4 exclusive, and the marketing thus far has been PlayStation-only. We now know that the game will also make its way to PC platforms as well, thanks to a tweet from Sony.
Predator Hunting Grounds: Can You Play as The Predator?
We didn’t get much in the way of info as part of the Predator Hunting Grounds reveal trailer. Luckily, there was a blog post released shortly after on the PSBlog giving some more gameplay details. In the post, it is revealed that ‘One group of players will control members of an elite Fireteam who pack state-of-the-art conventional firepower, from shotguns and SMGs to sniper rifles and more. Meanwhile, one player will control the Predator: a stealthy, acrobatic killing machine bristling with exotic alien technology such as the infamous Plasmacaster.’ This is very much in line with other games that developer Illfonic has worked on, namely Friday the 13th.
We’ll be adding more info as it is revealed. For now, stay tuned for future updates.
