Vermintide 2 Waystalker Class Guide
The Waystalker comes in the form of the enigmatic Kerillian, which basically specializes in rapid and ranged combat. Kerillian has a quick short sword as her base weapon, but also possesses a bow that's far quicker at firing off arrows that the Ranger or Mercenary classes are.
The passive Ability for the Waystalker is Amaranthe, which gives her the bonus of regenerating health over time, as well as double ammo capacity, increased ranged weapon zoom, and no ranged damage falloff. The additional Ability for Kerillian is Trueshot Volley, which lets her fire off a bunch of arrows that actively seek out enemies that are within her line of sight.
The Waystalker is definitely geared up to specialize in ranged combat in Vermintide 2, so if you'd rather stand back and let other players take to the front lines, then we'd recommend going with the Waystalker.
Vermintide 2 Waystalker Class Upgrades
Just below, you'll find detailed descriptions of the Waystalker's two unlockable character classes, the first of which is unlocked at character level 7, and the latter of which is unlocked at character level 12. Simply play online games of Vermintide 2 as Kerillian, in order to earn XP to level up and unlock both classes.
Waystalker Handmaiden Class:
This level 7 unlock gives the Waystalker increased dodge distance, stamina regeneration, and an uninterruptable revive. The Dash ability lets the Handmaiden dash forward through enemies, temporarily stunning them. This is a great ability to save for when you’ve got your back up against the wall, either against a horde of Skaven soldiers, or a powerful boss enemy like a Spawn of Chaos or a Rat Ogre.
Waystalker Shade Class:
The Shade class unlocked at level 12 gives the Waystalker 50% additional damage when attacking from behind, while also allowing her to instantly slay man-sized minions which she lands a critical hit on. There's also the Infiltrate ability, which lets Kerillian vanish and pass through enemies for 10 seconds, reappearing when she attacks.
Best Waystalker Builds
Since the Waystalker primarily focuses on a mix of ranged combat and melee combat, we’d recommend going with quick melee weapons, no matter which subclass you’re going with. Whether you’re a Handmaiden or Shade, your best bet for slaying Skaven is to equip double daggers, and lay into your foes at an alarming rate.
