Fortnite Shifty Shafts Treasure Map Guide
If you're looking for the Fortnite week 9 treasure map, read on for the final resting place of the Fortnite Week 9 treasure. For this challenge, you’ll need to head straight to the spot marked on the map just below, southwest of Dusty Divot. As seasoned Fortnite players will no doubt know by now, you don’t actually need to locate the treasure map itself within Shifty Shafts to complete this challenge, all you need to do is know where on the map you’re heading for the Battle Star to appear.
As you make your descent towards the southwest area around Dusty Divot, you’ll notice that there are several different plateau areas on the huge rocky structure. Your best bet at obtaining the actual Battle Star is to land on the highest platform on the rocky tower, and then make your descent down the ground via the lower platforms.
This makes it easier to uncover the actual Battle Star and complete the challenge, as it’ll be a lot harder to land on a lower platform and then work your way upwards, then it is to land on the highest platform and descend from there. Keep in mind that once you have claimed the Battle Star for yourself, you’ll need to complete the game of Fortnite for the challenge to be completed, and if you quit out, you’ll be disqualified from completing it.
This might be the conclusion of our Fortnite guide on how to track down the treasure for Week 9, but there's plenty left to do for this week in the game. For now, head over to our Fortnite Stone Heads guide, for the location of every head in the game.
As we mentioned previously, this is one of the seven total Fortnite Week 9 Challenges, that are all live right now on September 7, kicking off the penultimate week of Season 5.
