Monster Hunter World Winter Star Event - End Date, New Armor and Weapons, Returning Event Quests

Here's everything you need to know about Monster Hunter World's Winter Star event, including the end date, new armor and weapon items, and much more.

The Winter Star event for Monster Hunter World brings in, as you might be able to tell, a festival that celebrates the Winter season. In this complete Monster Hunter World Winter Star Fest guide, we'll be putting together all the information we know about the ongoing event for you, including the final Winter Star Fest end date, all the new weapons and armor items that you can forge while the event runs on, and more.

If you instead need help with any other areas of the biggest Monster Hunter game to date, you’ll want to head over to our Monster Hunter World guides hub. It’s on this page that you can find all the general tips and tricks, and much more for Capcom’s massive game.

Monster Hunter World Winter Star Fest End Date

In the announcement just below through the official Monster Hunter World Twitter account, Capcom revealed that the Winter Star Fest would commence for all players on November 30. It's active right now, and the festivities will be going on until December 17.

Monster Hunter World Winter Star Fest New Armor

It wouldn't be much of a festival in Monster Hunter World without a few new sets of armor. Just below, you can see the new armor outfits you can obtain for male and female hunters, although you'll need five Winter Star Tickets to craft either complete armor set.

The Gathering Hub has also received a makeover for the Winter Star Fest. As always, the Handlers and Palicoes up on the top floor have received brand new outfits to mark the holiday season.

Monster Hunter World Winter Star Fest Event Quests

But aside from all the new content being introduced with the Winter Star Fest, there’s a bunch of old content returning to Monster Hunter World. While the festival to mark the holiday season is active, all former event quests for Monster Hunter World have been made active once again.

This means that if you’re playing on PS4, you’ve got another shot at obtaining the Aloy armor and Palico Watcher gear through the Nora quests. Likewise, you’ve got another chance at obtaining Dante’s gear, and other unique items and outfits, until the Winter Star Fest comes to a close on December 17.

Now that we’re all done with this guide to the Monster Hunter World Winter Star Fest event, you can continue ahead to any of our other pages on the game. There’s our page on how to kill the Lunastra, or our full Monster Hunter World Behemoth guide.
