We might have had the Infinity Gauntlet already feature in Fornite Battle Royale earlier in 2018, but now Epic has introduced the Infinity Blade. In this Fortnite Infinity Blade guide, we’ll be walking you through how to get the Fortnite Infinity Blade as easily as possible, so you can get to smashing up structures with the brand new weapon.
If you instead need anything else to do with Fortnite Battle Royale, you’ll want to head over to our Fortnite Season 7 guide. Here you can find all the details on the latest Battle Pass, including the new character skins, and a list of all past and present challenges.
Fortnite Infinity Blade Location
The Infinity Blade is a powerful weapon in Fortnite (more on that later), but there’s only one place where you can find it on the Battle Royale map. You can locate the sword in Polar Peaks, and even more interestingly, only one Infinity Blade is spawned per Fortnite match, so it’s a race to be the first to get there and claim it.
What is the Fortnite Infinity Blade?
The Fortnite Infinity Blade has two forms of attack. The first of these is a straight slash, and although simple, this attack deals out a total 75 damage, meaning you can either kills players in two hits most of the time, or take out entire structures in one hit. Alternatively, you can leap huge distances with the Infinity Blade and come slamming down on the ground, dealing 25 damage to everything around you.
So, unlike the Infinity Gauntlet, the Infinity Blade has no proper method of ranged attack. With Thanos, you could shoot a beam out of your gauntlet, but with the Infinity Blade, you’ll actually have to be slightly careful not to get caught out in the open, as since there’s only one Infinity Blade per match, everyone’s going to be gunning for you once they realise you have the blade.
Fortnite Infinity Blade Health and Shield Perks
But, once you pick up the Infinity Blade, you’ll get a 200 point bonus to both your health and shield. On top of this, your shield will also constantly regenerate, so if you get hit a couple times, you can hide away and wait a few seconds for your shield to recharge slightly, before entering the battle again.
And that’s all you need to know about the Infinity Blade in Fortnite Battle Royale. Now that we’re done with this guide, why not check out our best Fortnite skins page, which now features skins included in Season 7.
