When Does the Overwatch Anniversary Event End?

As we mentioned at the top, the Overwatch Anniversary event for 2018 has now ended. The end of the limited time event coincided with the double XP weekend.

This is actually the second overall Overwatch Anniversary event, a repeat of the event that marked the first birthday of the online hero shooter back in 2017. The Overwatch Anniversary 2018 event kicked off back in late May, right around 8 am PSt/11 am EST/4 pm BST.

Overwatch Anniversary Event Legendary Skins

The Overwatch Second Anniversary event has now finished, and a bunch of old content that was previously inaccessible, tied to old events like Halloween Terror or the Winter Wonderland events, returned for a limited time. So if you missed Junkrat's Halloween Terror skin, or Mei's Lunar New Year skin, you had another chance to unlock them before June 11.

But there's also a load of brand new character items like Legendary skins and emotes that returned as part of the Overwatch Second Anniversary event. Blizzard announced there would be a total of eight new Legendary skins, three new Epic skins, and a host of new other cosmetic items like Emotes for characters like Doomfist, Moira, and Brigitte. All added up, there were well over fifty new items for you to unlock.

Take a look at all the brand new Overwatch Anniversary Legendary skins just below, which were available in Anniversary loot boxes until June 11:

Just below, you can see some of the Legendary character skins that were featured in last year's Overwatch Anniversary event, to mark one year since the game launched.

And now here's our pick of some of the best Overwatch skins that have launched over various events from the last two years, all of which are coming back for the Overwatch Second Anniversary event in loot boxes later this month:

But what Overwatch character skins are the very best? If you head over to our best Overwatch skins page, USgamer staff will rank their top 15 personal best character skins in the game, released at some point over the last two years for the hero shooter.

All this new and old content alike was featured in the Overwatch Anniversary 2018 event. As we previously mentioned, we'll be keeping this guide updated, just in case the event returns next year in 2019.

And the good thing about bringing all the previous bits of loot back is that it makes it even less likely that you'll get what you want in any given loot box. Yay!

I wonder if they'll ever move to just letting you buy what you want, like Street Fighter et al, given recent events in Europe.

That's so nice that they released these updates in this great game. They can also borrow many great features from a nice website glück bonus ohne einzahlung and it can make sense for this game too.
