Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Elpenor's Location

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: Elpenor's Location

The mysterious figure Elpenor will have to be hunted down. We'll show you where to find him.

During the plot of Assassin's Creed Odyssey, a key character called Elpenor is going to go missing, and Kassandra/Alexios will have to track him down. While we won't be spoiling any of the plot details in this guide, we'll simply be pointing out Elpenor's location on the map, so you can complete the Snake in the Grass quest.

Elpenor's Location in Assassin's Creed Odyssey

Elpenor goes missing near the conclusion of the Snake in the Grass quest of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Rest assured, we’re not going to spoil why or how he goes missing, just in case you’ve stumbled upon this guide by accident.

But, when Elpenor vanishes, there isn’t a marker for him on the map. You have to find him entirely on your own, and it’s by pure chance that we found him hiding in a cave in the Snake Temple area on the map. Found in the western portion of the Snake Valley area of the Phokis region, Snake Temple is actually really well defended by tons of Cultist Guards, all of which you’ll have to eliminate before you can come face to face with Elpenor in his hideout.

Locating the Cave

Remember, if you’re having trouble finding the cave that Elpenor is hiding in, remember to use Ikaros from above. By holding down the left trigger while in Ikaros mode, you can hover and uncover nearby hidden enemies, one of which will be Elpenor.
