In May, the Final Fantasy 7 Remake re-emerged for the first time in roughly three years. Only the CG trailer with a new look at Cloud, Aeris, Biggs, and others below was shown off, but Square confirmed that more details about the game would be arriving at E3 2019.

Now, we actually know the release date for the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, which you can see below. The release date of March 3, 2020, as well as the new-look trailer were shown off at the Final Fantasy 7 orchestral concert just a day before the Square Enix E3 showcase, but director Tetusya Nomura has still promised a new look at the game today on June 10.

In late May, Square Enix announced that the Avengers project would finally make an appearance at the Square Enix E3 2019 conference. This is going to be our first look at the game from Crystal Dynamics, which is said to have single player and four player co-op elements, thanks to a leak from the E3 website.

Will 2019 be the year of the mysterious Avengers game? | Square Enix

It was just recently announced that Square Enix would be publishing Dying Light 2 in North America. This means that the sequel will be showcased under the Square Enix umbrella at E3 2019, so get ready for Dying Light 2 to make an appearance at the Square Enix showcase.

Two games that you can almost certainly expect will be at the Square Enix E3 2019 conference are Dragon Quest XI and Dragon Quest Builders, both for the Nintendo Switch. Square Enix reaffirmed their commitment for a Switch port of Dragon Quest XI earlier this year, and Dragon Quest Builders 2 is still on the cards for release at some point later this year.
