Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Release Date
As we mentioned previously, a release date of November was recently announced for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. The trailer that debuted at Star Wars Celebration revealed that the game would be releasing on November 15, 2019, for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
Back at E3 2018, Jedi: Fallen Order was revealed for the first time at the EA Play event. "We're working on a bunch of stuff," Respawn CEO said. "The name is Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which kinda gives you some idea that you'll maybe be playing a Jedi." Outside of the reveal of the name of Respawn's Star Wars game, there was a release window of Holiday 2019 pencilled in for the game.
Jedi Fallen Order Trailer
The debut trailer for Jedi: Fallen Order was finally revealed on April 13. In the trailer, which you can see just below, we see Star Wars newcomer Cal Ketsis living a solitary life in hiding, as a Jedi that originally survived the events of Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith.
The trailer certainly sets up Cal for multiple clashes with The Empire. Fans have speculated that Iden Versio, protagonist of Star Wars Battlefront 2 and played by Janina Gavankar, will be one of the many antagonists of the game, but we'll have to wait and see to find out for sure.
So far, there aren't any established Star Wars characters confirmed for Jedi: Fallen Order. Don't expect to see the likes of Obi Wan or Vader making an appearance, because this seems like an entirely original story from Respawn.
Jedi Fallen Order Setting
At the debut reveal event for Jedi: Fallen Order all the way back at E3 2018, the setting for the game was revealed. Vince Zampella stated that the game would be set in between Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith, and Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope.
"It's a time where the Jedi are being hunted," Zampella said. The title of the game definitely alludes to the fact that Jedi: Fallen Order takes place during or immediately after the downfall of the Jedi Order, as seen back in Revenge of the Sith. The debut trailer for the game, which you can see above, confirmed the time period.

In this section of our guide to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, we'll be going over all the smaller bits of news that have been circulating around Respawn's game. We'll be listing out news in the bullet points below, and updating the list whenever any new details for the game are revealed.
- As the official Star Wars website revealed near E3 2018, Jedi: Fallen Order is a single player-only game.
- In addition to this, the game is confirmed to feature Lightsaber duels, so don't worry about being the only one with a Lightsaber in Jedi: Fallen Order.
- Sticking to the third person design seen in Star Wars games over the last decade or so, Jedi: Fallen Order will be played in the third person perspective.
- At some point during development, Chris Avellone worked on Jedi: Fallen Order with Respawn. This is particularly exciting because Avellone has a litany of credits on various classic games, including Knights of the Old Republic 2.
As of right now, these are all the details that we have on Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. Later this week, we'll be sure to update this page with all additional information, as soon as it's revealed.
