When you first step into the Fairy Gym in Ballonea, you'll be told that the Gym Leader, Opal, will be asking you questions throughout your entire time in the gym. Your Pokemon will get stat boosts to their speed and defense if you get the questions right, but the same attributes will be penalized if you get them wrong.
