Mass Effect: Andromeda: Adept Guide, Best Strategies

Mass Effect: Andromeda: Adept Guide, Best Strategies

All you need to know about Mass Effect Andromeda’s intuitive new combat Profiles, abilities, and the skills that you unlock along with them. Complete guide.

In this guide we’ll help you become better at Biotics with Mass Effect: Andromeda’s Adept profile. The Adept profile is perfect for those that prefer the mage-like Biotic Skill Tree. The bonuses of the Adept make a Biotics user even more lethal, and with the proper build can result in giving you some of the most damage dealing attacks in the game.

If you’re not bothered about learning the ins and outs of the adept profile, head over to our Mass Effect Andromeda Guide and Walkthrough hub for loads more info.

How to Unlock the Mass Effect Andromeda Adept Profile

To unlock the Adept, you’ll have to put some skill points into the Biotics Skill Tree. Six skill points into Biotics will unlock the first rank of the Adept profile.

Mass Effect Andromeda Adept Profile Unique Bonuses

The Adept profile comes with two unique bonus skills. The first is Biotic Echoes, which sets off additional explosions when detonating a Biotics combo. The second, Biotic Jump and Evade, has Ryder trading in their jump jets for a biotic jump and evade. This biotic jump and evade increases your evasion distance.

Mass Effect Andromeda Adept Profile Rank Requirements and Boosts

As with the Soldier and Engineer profiles, Adept is unlocked by six skill points spent in its focus discipline, Investing in Biotics will continue to raise the Rank of the Adept profile and strengthen its stat boosts.

Recommended Strategies and Skills for Use With the Adept Profile

An Adept is the wizard of Mass Effect: Andromeda. In particular, Biotic combos can be devastating so priming them with Pull or Singularity, and detonating with Throw or Lance is a good combat strategy for the Adept profile.

Since you’ll be less focused on Combat skills as a Biotics user, another good skill investment is Barrier. With Barrier adding extra protection, and its effect being extended by the Adept bonus, you can stay in a fight much longer.
