Mass Effect Andromeda Walkthrough - Ruined Tower, Garden Tower, Console Puzzles, How to Complete The Journey to Meridian

In this Mass Effect Andromeda guide we'll walk you through the end of the Journey to Meridian, including how to find and activate the two towers in the Exploration and Research sectors.

The Ruined Tower in the Exploration Sector

Once you've cleared the landing area, make your way to the left, up the ramp and then follow the walkways up and round. You'll come up against numerous kett as you go. Take them out and keep moving onwards. Eventually you'll come to a large area with a turret high up on a platform. Take the turret out and then head over to where it was and use the console to open the door.

You've made it to the exploration systems. There's a console in the middle of the room. Use it and you'll discover that it's not working. You need to reroute power to the main console (obviously it couldn't be as simple as pressing a switch!) but it's not going to be easy. The main console has four symbols/glyphs. The consoles around the edge of the room each have a symbol/glyph on them, with the layout in the room matching the position of each symbol on the main console.

Activate the single symbol consoles in this order: bottom right, bottom left, top right, top left. Imagine drawing a 'Z' from bottom to top. Now activate the tower.

A whole load of remnant will attack, including a walking turret that is super dangerous (the remnant clearly watched Robo Cop!). Take this out first by focusing all your group's attention on it. Once you've take care of all the enemies it's time to find the second tower (unless you've already done that one by choosing to take a different route to the one we did!).

The Garden Tower in the Research Sector

From the Ruined Tower, head straight forwards past the turret, up the ramp and to the console. This will activate a bridge that will let you cross the water. Up ahead the kett are fighting the remnant. When you get involved things become slightly chaotic, so be careful not to let the Behemoth get too close to you.

Keep following the path towards the marker for the Garden Tower. Make sure you head over the bridge (you'll need to activate it using the consoles) and you'll be on the right path.

You'll make it to a room packed with kett, including all the big gun enemies. Take them out, doing your best to stay in cover. The wraith will get right in your face but it's fairly easy to keep other foes at a distance. Once they're dealt with, activate the console to open the door and enter the archives. Use the console directly in front and you'll trigger a cutscene.

After a revelation about the angarans you'll have to deal with a couple of remnant enemies. Then it's time to head to Meridian Central Command. Head back through the city. You'll come up against more kett, including some of their heavy hitters like the ascendant with their orbs. Stay up high near the entrance to the room to take out all the grunts and target the Ascendant's orb. If you make your squad attack him, they'll run down onto the lower level and draw all fire, leaving you in the clear to take shots from distance.

With the room cleared, head straight ahead and up onto the higher level. Carry on forwards and back over the bridge. A group of kett will storm through to the right and take on the remnant up ahead. This battle might appear to suit you, but in the end they'll turn on you and your team too. Join the fight, making sure to avoid the fire from the heavy units and staying out the path of charging foes. There are plenty of pillars to get behind, meaning this fight might take a while but really shouldn't pose too much of a challenge.

Carry on through the large door at the end of the room and use the Gravity Well to head up. Interface with the console and you'll trigger a cutscene revealing the fate of Meridian.
