Spider Man PS4 is primarily about Peter Parker, albeit an older one than we're used to seeing. This definitely isn't an origin story. It's not just about Peter, though, with other characters getting their own time in the spotlight. One of those characters is Miles Morales. Spider Man PS4: Can You Play as Miles Morales

The first thing you’ll probably want to know about Miles’ involvement in Spider Man PS4 is whether or not he’s playable. Well, Miles plays a big part in the story of Spider Man PS4, and there are a handful of sections where you play as him. These sections mostly involve sneaking past guards, and using a hacking app that Miles and his pal designed. You’ll first get to play as him right after the attack on the courthouse.

Miles Morales is voiced by Nadji Jeter in Spider Man PS4. He voiced Sam in The Last of Us, and has starred in Everybody hates Chris, Grey’s Anatomy and Grown Ups.

Spider Man PS4 Miles Morales Story - Jefferson Davis, Spider 42, and Courthouse Scene

Miles and Peter first cross paths at a courthouse ceremony involving Miles’ father, Jefferson Davis. The event is attacked by Mister Negative, and the player takes control of Miles. After the events of the bombing, Peter invites Miles to help out at F.E.A.S.T, hoping that it will help him deal with his loss in the same way it helped Peter. Miles gets caught up in the city-wide disaster, and along with Mary Jane, saves Spider Man’s life. He provides support until the end of the game, where he is bitten by a radioactive spider brought in by MJ when returning from the Oscorp Lab.

Spider Man PS4 Miles Morales Post Credits Scene

While Miles does play a supporting role in Spider Man PS4, there are hints that he might be set to step up to more of a heroic lead character. Toward the end of the campaign, Miles is bitten by Spider 42, and develops Spidey powers just like Peter Parker. The post credits scene shows Miles revealing his powers to Peter, to which Peter then shows off his as well.
