However if you instead need help with any other areas of the remake from Capcom, you’ll want to head over to our Resident Evil 2 walkthrough. It’s here that you can find a complete beginner’s guide to making it through Raccoon City alive, and much more.
Resident Evil 2 Mr. Raccoon Statue Locations
There are fifteen total Mr. Raccoon statues hidden throughout Resident Evil 2, showing off the Raccoon City mascot in all his glory. The game itself won’t actually keep track of the amount of Mr. Raccoon statues that you’ve destroyed, so it can be pretty difficult to note which statues you’ve yet to destroy, but with the guide below, we can walk you through all the statues we’ve found so far.
Mr. Raccoon East Hallway
In the eastern hallway of the Raccoon City police department, the corridor stretches round to the stairs. Just next to the stairs on a table, you can find a Mr. Raccoon statue, which we’ve unfortunately already destroyed (sorry).
Mr. Raccoon Break Office Safe Room
There aren’t “safe rooms” as such in Resident Evil 2, but there is a pretty secure room on the first floor of the police station, in the eastern section the building. In the ‘break room,’ you can find a Mr. Raccoon statue hiding behind a bag, next to the beds.
Mr. Raccoon West Office
You can reach the west office in the police department by starting out on the first floor, and simply heading through the western door by the stairs. Look to the cabinets on the northern edge of this room to find the Mr. Raccoon statue above you.
Mr. Raccoon STARS Office
The STARS office in the police department is located in the western portion of the second floor of the police station. When you’re in the office, you can find the Mr. Raccoon statue on a desk in the southeastern corner of the room.
Mr. Raccoon Firing Range
When you’re in the basement after the boss fight with William Birkin, you can head to the firing range. In the open portion of the room, you can find a Mr. Raccoon statue at the base of the target that’s fallen over.
Mr. Raccoon Clock Tower
So this Mr. Raccoon isn't actually in the clock tower. You need to go through the clock tower from the main hall, and out into the corridor on the other side of the room. Follow this corridor round to the barricade, and you can find Mr. Raccoon looking out of the window to your left.
Mr. Raccoon East Storage Room
You can reach the east storage room on the third floor, and you need to be in the northern edge of the room. Look to the shelves above you, and you can see Mr. Raccoon atop some boxes.
Mr. Raccoon Sewer Entrance
This Mr. Raccoon statue is only available while you're playing as Leon. As soon as the giant alligator fight has concluded, turn around, and Ada will drop down a ladder. Look to the left of the ladder, and a Mr. Raccoon statue will be near the wall.
Mr. Raccoon Incinerator
During Ada Wong's playable section of Resident Evil 2, a Mr. Raccoon statue can be found just outside the huge doors to the incinerator. If you look just to the right of the huge double doors, you can see the statue on the ground.
Mr. Raccoon Supplies Storage Area
For this Mr. Raccoon statue, either Leon or Claire need to head to the very bottom level of the waterway. Now make your way west, past the three sludge monsters, and through the door surrounded by a glowing red light. Turn left once you're up the stairs, and you can find Mr. Raccoon on the ground at the end of this small area.
Mr. Raccoon Cafeteria
Once Leon or Claire has reached the NEST lab area of Resident Evil 2, you can find this Mr. Raccoon statue. Exit out of the area with the typewriter, down a dark corridor, and the first unlockable door on your right will be the cafeteria. Make your way past the zombies in here, and when you reach the ladder turn right to see Mr. Raccoon on a window ledge.
Mr. Raccoon Nap Room
This is the final chronological Mr. Raccoon statue in the campaign of Resident Evil 2 that either Leon or Claire can find. After you've completed the greenhouse section the game, return all the way to the cafeteria area, and go straigth on down the corridor, passing the cafeteria on your right. At the end of the nap room, you can use the signal modulator on the wall to turn the power on, revealing the Mr. Raccoon statue in the bunk directly on your right.
Mr. Raccoon 2nd Run Entrance
For this Mr. Raccoon statue, you'll need to start a 2nd run playthrough of Resident Evil 2, as either Claire or Leon. As soon as you've passed down the steps and up the steps immediately ahead, turn to your left. There'll be a Mr. Raccoon statue hiding among the bushes here.
As of right now, these are all the Mr. Raccoon statues that we’ve manage to uncover in Resident Evil 2. Rest assured that we’re actively scouring the game for additional statues, and we’ll update this guide with all the other locations very shortly.
