Although the NBA 2K20 release date was originally leaked before the game was even announced, we now know the cover star of the latest iteration of the basketball sim. In this guide to the game, we'll be going over the newly revealed NBA 2K20 cover star, the Legend edition of the game, and more.

NBA 2K20 Release Date

As was recently revealed in a promotional leak, the NBA 2K20 release date is September 6, 2019. This is pretty much the standard release period for previous NBA 2K games, which typically release right around a month before the actual NBA season tips off in October.

Last year, NBA 2K19 released on the PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. This year, NBA 2K20 will be releasing on all the same platforms, so it'll be available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch, both physically and digitally.

NBA 2K20 MyCareer Features Idris Elba and Lebron James

It was revealed at Gamescom 2019 that My Career for NBA 2K20 is Executive Produced by Lebron James' SpringHill Entertainment. Idris Elba and Rosario Dawson star in it. check out the trailer below:

NBA 2K20 Gameplay

So far we've not seen much in the way of gameplay for NBA 2K20. Luckily, 2K just released a new trailer showing the game off. Check it out below:

NBA 2K20 Cover Star

We now know that Anthony Davis will be the NBA 2K20 cover star. You can see the announcement from the official 2K Twitter account just below, and while we haven't actually seen the cover art of NBA 2K20, we at least know that A.D. will be on the front.

NBA 2K20 Legend Edition

Anthony Davis might be the NBA 2K20 cover star for the standard version of the game, but there's also the upgraded Legend Edition to consider. Purchase this version of NBA 2K20, and you'll get Dwayne Wade as the cover star.
