If you instead need a complete roundup of any additional content on the horizon for Bungie’s FPS, you’ll want to head over to our Destiny 2 DLC guide. It’s on this page that you can find a roundup of all past content and DLC drops for the game, as well as all the potential details on future expansion packs.
Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost End Date
The Festival of the Lost event debuted in Destiny 2 on October 16, well before Halloween. The festivities began around the usual time of 10 am PT/1 pm ET, which is the usual time that Bungie introduces new updates for the game.
Now that the Destival 2 Halloween event has begun, you'll have until November 6 to take part in the festivities. It's fairly safe to assume that the event will be finishing around 10 am PT/1 pm ET, the same time that it began, but we'll be updating this section of our guide as soon as there's any official word from Bungie.
Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost Horde Mode
The biggest addition in the Festival of the Lost is a brand new horde mode, which takes place in the Haunted Forest, a new location for Destiny 2. This new horde mode thankfully includes matchmaking, so you won't have to go through Guided Games in order to get a team together.
Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost Rewards - Engrams, Weapons
It wouldn’t be a brand new Destiny 2 event without some new gear. Just below, we've compiled all the new gear items that we've found so far in the Festival of the Lost event.
Like the look of the weapon pictured just above? That's the Horror Story, and it's the most powerful and rare weapon to be featured in the Festival of the Lost event. For a walkthrough of how to get your hands on it, head over to our Destiny 2 Horror Story guide.
The Eververse Trading Co. is offering brand new Ephemeral Engrams during Festival of the Lost, which we can safely assume will be rewarding you with many of the new cosmetic items, like ships and Sparrows. You’ll be rewarded with a new Ephemeral Engram every time you level up (provided you’ve already hit the level cap).
And with that, our complete guide on the Festival of the Lost event in Destiny 2 has concluded. As we mentioned previously, we’ll be updating this guide whenever any new details about the event are announced, but for now you can head over to our Destiny 2 Forsaken Exotics guide, which walks you through how to get your hands on some of the very best weapons in the game.
