Injustice 2 Guide - How to Unlock Every Premiere Skin

Injustice 2 pits the giants of the DC Comic Universe against one another, as allegiances are shattered and precarious alliances are forged. In this guide we'll tell you how to unlock every Premiere Skin in Injustice 2.

While the only new character that can be unlocked in Injustice 2 is Brainiac, the appearance of other characters can be unlocked through Premiere Skins, replacing what would normally be unlockable characters. This Injustice 2 Premiere Skin Guide will tell you all you need to unlock them all.

Should you need any additional help with other areas of the game, be sure to head over to our Injustice 2 guides walkthrough hub, containing complete character guides, as well as general strategies to utilise.

Premiere Skins allow certain characters to take on the appearance of other characters throughout the DC Universe. Though this may sound complex, the only change to the character is in the appearance, and doesn't affect any abilities. For example, although Cheetah can transform into Vixen through a Premiere Skin, the powers of Cheetah stay consistent through the transformation.

Most Premiere Skins can be purchased using an in-game currency of Source Crystals. Source Crystals are obtained rarely, and are earned every time your overall level increases, as well as every time you complete a Multiverse Challenge, or a Daily Challenge.

How to Unlock Every Premiere Skin

There are only 7 total Premiere Skins in Injustice 2, and only a few can be unlocked by multiple methods, meaning you'll be hard pressed to obtain all of them. Below, we've listed every Premiere Skin in the game, as well as detailing every way possible to obtain them.

Golden Age Flash Premiere Skin

Based off the original, Jay Garrick version of The Flash, the Golden Age Flash Premiere Skin comes complete with the winged helmet, and is one of two Premiere Skins for The Flash. To unlock the Golden Age Flash Premiere Skin, you will need to purchase it with 6,000 Source Crystals.

Grid Premiere Skin

You'll have fought Grid briefly if you've progressed the single-player campaign of Injustice 2 beyond a certain point. Grid is a Premiere Skin for Cyborg, and is effectively an evil version of the character, created by Brainiac. To Unlock the Grid Premiere Skin for Cyborg, you'll have to link to the mobile version of Injustice 2.

John Stewart Green Lantern Premiere Skin

John Stewart is one of the many other versions of Green Lantern, who took the ring after Hal Jordan, and gained fame through the Justice League Animated Series. To unlock the John Stewart Premiere Skin for Green Lantern you'll either have to own the Ultimate Edition of Injustice 2, or buy it with 6,000 Source Crystals.

Mister Freeze Premiere Skin

This Premiere Skin allows Captain Cold to take on the look of Mister Freeze, and while the former may be a Flash villain and the latter is a Batman villain, both revolve around the cold. To unlock the Mister Freeze Premiere Skin for Captain Cold, you will need to purchase it with 6,000 Source Crystals.

Power Girl Premiere Skin

Widely known as the Earth-2 version of Supergirl, this Power Girl skin can turn the former character into the latter. To unlock the Power Girl Premiere Skin for Supergirl to wear, you will have to either own the Ultimate Edition of Injustice 2, purchase the skin through the Fighter Pack 1 DLC, or purchase it separately with 6,000 Source Crystals.

Reverse-Flash Premiere Skin

Arguably the ultimate enemy of The Flash, the Reverse-Flash has faced off against the Scarlet Speedster in countless comics, as well as in the TV show on The CW. In order to unlock the Reverse-Flash Premiere Skin for The Flash, you will have to either own the Ultimate Edition of Injustice 2, or purchase the skin with 6,000 Source Crystals.

Vixen Premiere Skin

Although Vixen is the Premiere Skin for Cheetah, the two have an entirely different stance on crime, with the former using the powers of the animal kingdom to fight crime, and the latter using the powers for crime. The Vixen Premiere Skin for Cheetah can be purchased with 6,000 Source Crystals.

That's all seven of the Premiere Skins of Injustice 2 covered, but you can always continue to our guide covering every character in the game, or one of our character-specific pages, such as our guide to playing as the Joker.
