Fallout 76 got its first full showing during Bethesda’s E3 Press Conference, with Director at Bethesda Game Studios Todd Howard taking to the stage to reveal a deluge of new info. We got a release date, a few gameplay details, a look at the setting, and the reveal that Bethesda will be running a Fallout 76 beta. We’ve gathered everything you need to know about the Bethesda Fallout 76 beta, from release date to how to sign up.

Fallout 76 Beta Date

The Fallout 76 Beta was announced during the Bethesda E3 2018 Press Conference. It will give players the chance to play the game early, all the while offering valuable feedback and stress tests to help Bethesda better optimize the game.

Unfortunately, no exact timings have been given for the Fallout 76 beta. Given that the game comes out in November though, it will likely go live very soon indeed. Stay tuned for more news as we get it.

How to sign up for Bethesda Fallout 76 Beta

In order to gain access and sign up for Fallout 76, you have to pre-order the game. There are currently three versions of the game: the standard edition, the Tricentennial Edition, and the Power Armor Collector’s Edition. Pre-ordering any version will grant you a code that you can redeem. You’ll get a code for pre-ordering the game on PS4, Xbox One or PC, and for whichever version you choose. You can then redeem the code in either the PS Store, Xbox Store or Bethesda PC Launcher, when the beta finally releases. You’ll need the Launcher to play the beta on PC, so make sure you have it downloaded.

Fallout 76 Beta Will be on Xbox One First

There has been a little confusing as to the exact timings of the Fallout 76 Beta. Thanks to an updated FAQ over on the game's website, we now know that the Fallout 76 beta will launch first on Xbox One:

The B.E.T.A. will be available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and on PC (via Bethesda.net). Stay tuned for exact timing for each platform here and @Fallout on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. Please note that the B.E.T.A. for Xbox One will begin first, followed by other platforms.
