Barn Finds are a returning feature from past Forza Horizon games, and in Forza Horizon 4 they'll be particularly tricky to track down. In this Forza Horizon 4 Barn Finds guide, we'll be putting together a complete list of the Forza Horizon 4 Barn locations scattered around the large Scottish map, so you can track them all down as easily as possible.
If need help with any other areas of the latest iteration of Forza Horizon, you’ll want to head over to our complete Forza Horizon 4 guide. It’s on this page that you can find all the introductory tips and tricks you need to get started with the game, including how the CR and Influence currencies work, as well as a walkthrough on how to download all the DLC cars that you might have purchased.
If you've only just started playing Forza Horizon 4 and are wondering why you can't get any of the barn finds, be patient: the Forza Horizon 4 Barn Finds aren't unlocked until you've been playing the game for a little while. You'll notice that the menu option for Barn Finds is discolored in the early hours of the game, and it'll only open up to you once you've completed 'The Behemoth Showcase' event, in the northern part of the map. This showcase event unlocks once you've entered the autumn/fall season.
After this, Barn Finds aren't just given to you all in one go. Instead, Forza Horizon 4 drip feeds them to you, tasking you to go to a certain location, and find the Barn located nearby. Just below, we'll detail the complete list Forza Horizon 4 Barn Find locations, so you can unlock them all as quickly as possible. If you're after season-specific barn finds, check out the section just below this main list. Barn finds are special cars that you can't get unless you hunt them down in the Forza Horizon 4 map. Use our guide below and you'll have them all in no time.
We've listed all the barn find cars just below. These are the ones you can find throughout your time in Forza Horizon 4, but remember that you won't be able to unlock them in any order you wish. You'll have to do so in the order the game allows. Keep reading on for locations for each barn find.
The first Barn Find is located directly east of The Behemoth Showcase event marker on the map. It’s on top of a small mountain in the southwest of the Glen Rannoch area, and rewards you with the Ford Escort RS Turbo.
In the southeast of the Tarn Hows area, there’s a small Barn Find just northeast of the dirt road. For this barn, you’ll obtain the Jaguar E-Type S1.
Directly north of the Horizon Festival Site and slightly west of Slate Quarry, you’ll find this Barn Find just south of the small dirt road. For uncovering this Barn Find in Forza Horizon 4, you’ll unlock the Lotus Elise GT1.
Immediately south of the Derwent Reservoir marker on the map, you can find this Barn on the southern edge of the forest. For unlocking this barn, you’ll get the elite Audi Quattro.
Directly east of Ambleside, there’s a small clump of trees just east of a road, where you can find this Barn in Forza Horizon 4. You’ll get the wrecked Jaguar XJ220 for unlocking this Barn Find.
On the southern shores of Derwent Water and directly north of Ambleside, you’ll find this barn just off the main road. You’ll unlock the Mini Cooper S for uncovering this Barn Find in Forza Horizon 4.
Right next to the Greendale Air Strip on the eastern side, you’ll find this barn a short distance from the air strip itself. For uncovering this Barn Find, you’ll unlock the TVR Cerbera.
Directly north of the Astmoor name on the Forza Horizon 4 map, you’ll find this barn east of the Mudkickers Adventure Park. For uncovering this Barn Find, you’ll get the MG MGB GT.
For this next Barn Find, which can be found directly south from Ramburgh Castle, you’ll need to purchase the castle itself as a Home, which will set you back a whole 10 million CR. After you’ve done this, you’ll unlock the ability to uncover this Barn Find, which boasts the Bentley Blower.
For this Barn Find, which unlocks the Triumph Spitfire for your collection, you’ll need to head to the Express Railyard, which is just north from Lakehurst Forest. Just outside the actual yard on the eastern side, you’ll find this Barn among some trees.
In the southern reaches of Lakehurst Forest, you can find this Barn, which grants you the Subaru Impreza.
Just below, we'll list out all the Barn Finds in Forza Horizon 4 that are tied exclusively to a particular Season in the game. Take note of the required season as otherwise you'll be driving around without a chance of getting the car you're after.
Spring Barn Find: Dead in the center of the Moorhead Wind Farm name on the map, you can find this Barn among the trees, holding a Ford GT40 MKI.
Summer Barn Find: For this Summer Barn Find, you’ll need to head south of the Effington White Horse, and west of Ashbrook. Uncovering this Barn Find will bag you the Peel P50, a very odd and small vehicle.
Fall Barn Find: In the fields just southeast of the Horizon Festival Site itself, you’ll find this Fall barn, which unlocks the Aston Martin DB4 Zagato.
Winter Barn Find: This Winter Barn can be uncovered on the tiny island in the middle of Derwent Lake, but only in the dead of Winter once the lake itself has frozen solid.
Keep in mind that some of the Barn Finds listed above won’t always be available in every season of Forza Horizon 4. Sometimes, barns can only be unlocked when you’re in either Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter. Basically, if you don’t have a specific Barn Find rumor telling you to go to one of the locations listed above, it won’t be available in your current season.
We might now be all wrapped up with this one Forza Horizon 4 guide on how to find every barn in the game, but there’s plenty more to cover yet.
