Fortnite Retail Row Treasure Map Location - Follow the Treasure Map Found in Fortnite Retail Row Week 7 Challenge

As we found out when the Fortnite Week 7 Challenges leaked ahead of time earlier this week, you’ll need to head to Retail Row to first uncover the treasure map pictured just below. Still stuck for where to head? The map actually points you in the direction of Wailing Woods, located in the eastern portion of the Fortnite Battle Royale map.

Once you’ve located the map itself, it’s entirely reasonable to actually quit out of your game of Fortnite Battle Royale, and join a brand new game. Now that you know the treasure itself is located in the Wailing Woods, you can simply hop out of the Battle Bus at the correct time, and parachute your way down to the wooded area, instead of journeying across a huge portion of the map, from Retail Row all the way to Wailing Woods in a single match.

When you’re floating down towards the ground with your parachute, you’ll want to find the tower pictured on the treasure map, and align yourself with it so you’re facing north. Where you actually want to head is opposite the red and white awning, although landing at the tower itself and then descending into the maze to find the treasure is another entirely viable option.

Another tactic is to simply head straight into the maze from the southern entrance, and immediately turn left, before turning right again once you come face to face with a wall. Now head forward, and the Bronze Star will appear when you’re standing over the muddy patch of ground.

We should note that in the early hours of the Fortnite Week 7 Challenges going live, the Wailing Woods area will likely be swarming with players attempting to uncover the treasure for themselves. Although the area will be a hotspot, there isn’t one treasure per game, and if you can get to the spot marked on the map, all you need to do is stand in the correct position and claim the Bronze Star that appears for yourself.

From there, all you need to do is complete the Fortnite Battle Royale match, whether you win or die trying, and the challenge will be counted as complete.
