PUBG Mobile Guide
First of all, you’re going to want to know how to download PUBG mobile, no matter where you are in the world. If you’re one of our readers in either the US or Canada, then good news, for PUBG Mobile is available to download right now on both Android phones and iOS devices, including the iPhone and iPad.
But if you happen to be outside the US and Canada, then it’s a whole other process to go through, as we’ll detail just below.
How to Download PUBG Mobile iOS - iPhone and iPad
It turns out that while the Canadian version of PUBG Mobile is available on Android devices around the world, you’re going to have to download PUBG: Exhilarating Battlefield for iOS devices. Don’t worry though, it’s entirely the same game, just under a somewhat different name.
Just below, we’ll be outlining all the steps necessary for you to download PUBG Mobile in iOS:
- On your iOS device, log out of your Apple account in Settings.
- Back in Settings, go to the option to create a new iCloud Account.
- Use a new email address, but one which you still have access to.
- Continue through the various steps until your new account is set up and verified.
- Go to the App Store, and log into your account.
- When asked to select your region, choose ‘China’.
- Set up your payment details, but with a brand new address in china. To find a fake address, simply Google an existing, randomised address in China, and enter the details.
- You can now head to the App Store, and search for PUBG Mobile to find the complete game.
How to Download PUBG Mobile on Android
As for downloading PUBG Mobile on Android, it’s a lot simpler. You’ll need to change your location, which you can do by going into Google Payments Center and create a new profile to change your address, although you will have to have an existing Canadian address to hand.
After your brand new Canadian address has been verified, you can download the official PUBG Mobile game from Tencent, which you can find in the Google Play Store. Simple!
If you want to download PUBG Mobile on Android without needing a new Canadian account on your Android device, you can do so via sideloading. This is where you download the APK or OBB game files and manually install them without using the Google Play Store. This does open you up to downloading potentially harmful files, so make sure you trust the source if you go down this route. If you don't fancy either of these options, all that's left is to wait for PUBG Mobile on Android to launch in your region.
PUBG Mobile Controls Guide
No matter if it’s your first, or hundredth game of PUBG, you’re going to want to know how to get to grips with the mobile version of Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds. We’re happy to report that PUBG Mobile is actually a great representation of the original game that launched last year on PC. As you can see in the screen just below, all the controls for PUBG Mobile are touch based.
You’ll be using the left touch pad on the screen to move your player avatar around, while you’ll be using the right hand sign of the screen to crouch, jump, vault, aim, and fire, which means you’ve got to be fairly quick with your right hand if you’re going to survive combat encounters with other PUBG Mobile players.
Is PUBG Mobile Full of Bots?
We mentioned previously that there's a Chinese version of PUBG Mobile, and this differs from the standard version of the game in an interesting way. According to The Verge, there are actually bots deployed by PUBG Corp in PUBG Mobile, in order to help ease new players into the game on mobile.
This is obviously very different from the standard version of PUBG on PC, and since the bots are actually pretty dumb, it makes the whole game a fair bit easier on the mobile side of things.
We might be all done with our PUBG Mobile guide, but continue ahead to our complete PUBG weapons guide, if you want all the details on every single weapons in the PC version of the game, from everything from sniper rifles to shotguns.
