Fortnite Season 5 Map - Lazy Links, Paradise Palms Desert Area

Here's our complete Fortnite Season 5 map guide, with all the changes to the map including the new Paradise Palms and Lazy Links locations.

Fortnite Season 5 is well underway now, and it's introduced some brand new areas to everyone on the Battle Royale map. In this Fortnite Season 5 map guide, we'll be waking you through all the changes that have been made to the map by Epic since Season 5 launched earlier in July, including the Fortnite Paradise Palms area, as well as the Fortnite Lazy Links area in the northern reaches of the map.

If you instead need help with anything else on the latest seasonal event of Battle Royale, you’ll want to head over to our Fortnite Season 5 guides hub. It’s in this guide that you’ll find all the information you need on the new Battle Pass cost, as well as detailed list of all the new skins and cosmetic items that you can earn over the course of the next 10 weeks while the season rolls on.

Fortnite Season 5 Map Guide

As we mentioned earlier, Fortnite Season 5 is now underway and live for everyone. Even if you haven't purchased the latest Battle Pass for the game, you'll still be able to experience all the changes across the Battle Royale map, along with everyone else.

Season 4 of Fortnite changed up the map a little bit, namely with the comet landing on Dusty Depot and changing up the entire layout of the location. However this time two brand new locations have sprung up on the Fortnite map, completely changing the way the overall map looks and feels.

Fortnite Paradise Palms Guide

The first of these two new areas is called Paradise Palms. This has basically replaced Moisty Mire with a brand new desert area in the southeastern section of the Fortnite map. Remember when the Fortnite burger mascot turned up in a real life desert before Season 5 launched? Well it looks like Epic took the entire desert and put it on the map.

In this new desert area, it looks like you’ve got three main areas of buildings. The first of these is on the southern coast of the location, and looks to be much smaller than the bigger town, which sits smack bang in the center of Paradise Palms. Finally, there’s a race course to the north of the map section, and this could potentially be a place where you race the All-Terrain Karts, as were also introduced in the Season 5 update for Fortnite.

Fortnite Lazy Links Guide

This location on the other hand, is basically a massive estate. Lazy Links has replaced Anarchy Acres, and whereas before you had a few barns surrounded by dry farming land, you’ve now got a huge house surrounded by lush green scenery.

There’s bound to be various weapons and chests nearly always found within the huge house area of Lazy Links. Otherwise, the house is surrounding by green fields on all sides, which could prove perilous if you’re caught out in the open.

That’s all you need to know about the new map changes for Fortnite in Season 5. Now that we’re all done here, you can head over to our Fortnite Season 5 skins guide, or our Fortnite Week 1 Challenges guide, for a list of the debut challenges in the new season.
