In The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening remake for the Switch, the bow isn't available from the start of the game, and you'll have to conquer two dungeons to unlock it. In this Zelda Link's Awakening bow guide, we'll be walking you through how to get the bow and arrow on Koholint Island, so you can add a dynamic weapon to your inventory.
Zelda Link's Awakening Bow and Arrow
If you're looking to get your hands on the bow and arrow early on in Link's Awakening, then we've got bad news for you. It doesn't unlock for the first few hours of the game, and after you've completed the first two dungeons. Check out our list of the steps you need to take (with links to corresponding guides) just below.
- Proceed through the Mysterious Woods.
- Conquer the Tail Dungeon.
- Rescue BowWow, the Chain Chomp.
- Conquer the Bottle Grove Dungeon.
Zelda Link's Awakening Bow Cost
After this, you're free to unlock the bow and arrow. To go about doing this, head back to Mabe Village, and you want to go into the store which is in the northeastern portion of the village.
In this store, you can purchase the 'Bow and Arrow Set,' which costs 980 Rupees. That's quite the sum!
