If you're looking to get your hands on the bow and arrow early on in Link's Awakening, then we've got bad news for you. It doesn't unlock for the first few hours of the game, and after you've completed the first two dungeons. After this, you're free to unlock the bow and arrow. To go about doing this, head back to Mabe Village, and you want to go into the store which is in the northeastern portion of the village.
