Black Ops 4 Loot Boxes Guide - Grand Heist Operation Reserve Crate Prices

Here's our complete guide to the new loot boxes in Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, also known as Reserve Crates.

Loot boxes have been introduced to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for the first time with the Grand Heist Operation update. In our Black Ops 4 loot boxes guide, we’ll be walking you through the Black Ops 4 Reserve Crate prices, so you know how far your real-world money is going to get you.

But if you instead need any additional information on the brand new Operation in Black Ops 4, you can always check out our full Black Ops 4 Operation Grand Heist guide. On this page you’ll find all the information you need to know about new cosmetics, the new Outrider Specialist, and more.

Black Ops 4 Reserve Crates

Operation Grand Heist launched for all Black Ops 4 players who owned the Black Ops Pass on February 19, bringing back loot boxes to Call of Duty under the name of ‘Reserve Crates.’ Although the new Operation is live on PS4, it’ll be arriving later for PC and Xbox One players at an unknown date.

Think of Reserve Crates as loot boxes within Black Ops 4. In a single Reserve Crate is contained three Reserve Cases, each of which offers you the opportunity to obtain one random item from the new Black Market tiers, while also offering the opportunity to obtain warpaints and skins for each of the Specialists that feature in the base game, outside of the Grand Heist update. For a full list of all the items you can potentially unlock, including new Specialist outfits and weapons, head over to our Black Ops 4 Grand Heist Market Tiers guide.

Black Ops 4 Loot Box Prices

Reserve Crates can’t be purchased on their own, and you’ll need to purchase a Reserve Case to get three of them at once. A single Reserve Case is going to cost you 200 CoD Points, and there’s currently no way to buy them in bulk. Just to put that in context, here’s a list of the CoD Points prices in USD:

  • 200 CoD Points - $1.99
  • 500 CoD Points - $4.99
  • 1,100 CoD Points - $9.99
  • 2,400 CoD Points - $19.99
  • 5,000 CoD Points - $39.99
  • 9,500 CoD Points - $74.99
  • 13,000 CoD Points - $99.99

Can you Earn Black Ops 4 Reserve Crates?

At the time of writing, there's absolutely no way to earn Reserve Crates by simply playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. CoD Points are the only method of purchase for the loot boxes, and the special points are only obtainable by shelling out your real world money.
