Fortnite Search Between a Bear, Crater, and a Refrigerator Shipment - Week 8 Search Between Challenge Treasure Map Location

Fortnite Search Between a Bear, Crater, and a Refrigerator Shipment - Week 8 Search Between Challenge Treasure Map Location

Here's how to complete the Fortnite Week 8 Search Between Challenge that tasks you to 'Search between a Bear, Crater, and a Refrigerator Shipment'.

The task to 'Search between a bear, crater, and a refrigerator shipment' is one of the more enigmatic Fortnite Week 8 Challenges, if not one of the more mysterious challenges in the whole of Season 4. In this Fortnite Week 8 Treasure guide, we'll be walking you through exactly how to complete the Fortnite Week 8 Search Between challenge, the latest in the series of long running treasure-themed challenges in the game.

But if you instead need help with anything else on Fortnite Battle Royale, you’ll want to head over to our complete Fortnite Season 4 guides hub. It’s here that you’ll find all you need to know on completing every single challenge that’s been revealed so far for Season 4, as well as list of all the best reward items you can obtain in the latest Battle Pass.

Fortnite Search Between Bear, Crater, Refrigerator Shipment Location

Firstly, we should mention that you can find a complete list of all six additional challenges for the week over on our Fortnite Week 8 Challenges guide. Here, you can find a complete list of how to complete all seven challenges for the week, so you can work your way closer to both the Hidden Challenge and the Blockbuster Challenge for the week.

This was a challenge that we actually didn’t know about before it launched, as even though FortniteTracker was able to leak the list of challenges at the beginning of the week as usual, this challenge remained hidden for some reason. Kudos to Epic for keeping some challenges a secret until the last minute.

Fortnite Week 8 Treasure Map Location

The final resting point of the treasure star can be located just southeast of Retail Row. As you can see in the screenshot just below, there’s a certain location just southeast of the small town, where there’s a small patch of dirt in between three trees.

It’s exactly on this patch of dirt on the ground, that the treasure star for this Fortnite Week 8 Challenge will appear. All you simply need to do is jump out of the Battle Bus, glide down as quickly as possible towards the resting point of the treasure star, and hold X/Square to pick it up as quickly as possible.

Keep in mind that to register the challenge as fully complete, you will have to finish the match of Battle Royale in which you collect the treasure star. It doesn’t matter if you die a split second after collecting the star itself—as long as you don’t quit out of the game, you’ll have completed the challenge.

We might be all wrapped up with this Fortnite guide on how to complete the treasure-orientated challenge for Week 8, but there’s plenty other work left to be done this week. Head over to our complete Fortnite Salty Springs chests guide, for a complete walkthrough of how to locate every single chest in the small town.
