GTA 5 Guide: Complete Heists Guide, Make Lots of Money, Gunrunning - GTA 5 Tips and Tricks

A guide to the GTA Online Heists, working the stock market, and other tips to help you stay on top of the Los Santos underworld.

This GTA 5 guide will help you complete every heist in GTA Online, learn how to make lots of money, walk you through every Stunt Jump location, and even teach you how to pull off Gold Completion for all of the assassination missions that Lester assigns Franklin.

GTA 5 is the newest open world story from Rockstar Studios. Like many of the games before it, GTAV is riddled with collectibles, tough missions, and hundreds of hours of new and fun content. Whether you’re a singl-eplayer buff, or a multi-player maniac, Los Santos has a lot to offer. Released for last-gen consoles in 2013, Rockstar has since completely revamped the game with new graphics and added content for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, all of which are available right now.

If for some reason you haven’t picked up the game yet, read Mike William’s review of the PS4 version. For those who don’t know, Grand Theft Auto V broke sales records when it first released on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013. Now, over 2 years later, the game has broken those same records on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. If this isn’t a good game, then we aren't sure what is.

GTA 5 Tips and Tricks

  • Free roaming may seem like a sideshow act for GTA games, but GTAV takes it to heart, and offers up a huge assortment of random conversations, side missions, and even fun little events for players to complete.
  • Whether you’re playing GTA Online, or making your way through the single-player campaign, your character stats are a big deal. This makes visiting places like Flight School and the Shooting Range extremely important. Don't be afraid to spend some time at both, as the benefits will last for your entire play through.
  • When playing the Campaign mode, switch between your different characters as much as you need to. Some random events only work for one of the protagonists, so you’ll want to make sure you log in plenty of time with Franklin, Trevor and Michael.
  • We actually cover this in one of our guides, but we figured it’s worth noting here as well. Do not complete any of the additional assassination missions until after you have finished the final (single-player) heist, and each of your characters is sitting on piles of cash.
  • Use GTA 5 cheats if you want to mess around and have some fun.
