We’ve listed the Pokemon GO Best Giratina Counters below, from best to worst:

  • Rayquaza - when facing Giratina, you’ll really just want to focus on Dragon types. Rayquaza is the best pick here, able to deal huge amounts of damage using his Dragon Tail and Outrage Dragon-Type attacks.
  • Salamence - another good Dragon-type to use is Salamence. Make sure you go in with Dragon Tail and Draco Meteor.
  • Mewtwo - If the version of Giratina happens to be using ancient Power to chip away at your Dragons, then you may want to go for Ghost-type moves. We recommend using a Mewtwo armed with Shadow Ball.

Pokemon GO Giratina Best Moveset

Now that you know the moveset for Giratina, let's take a look at the best ones to use. In terms of Fast Moves, there are two options—Shadow Claw and Dragon Breath. You'll want to go for Shadow Claw, as it has great all-round damage. Dragon Breath is only really effective against Dragon, Dark and Normal Pokemon.
